Amazon’s October Prime Big Deal Days are underway on October 7, 2026, and Amazon says the event runs October 6–7. It is a 48-hour sale for Prime members, but the exact offers, stock, eligibility and local closing time depend on the Amazon marketplace. Check the live listing before you buy.
When are Amazon’s October Prime deals?
Amazon calls its October 2026 event Prime Big Deal Days. Amazon’s U.S. announcement sets the event for October 6–7 and describes it as a 48-hour shopping window for Prime members. Amazon UK also lists October 6–7, but those dates do not establish a single cutoff time or identical offers for every country. Check the event page and listings for your local Amazon store.

What kinds of products are included?
Amazon identifies fashion, electronics, beauty, toys and home among its deal categories, and its coverage also mentions Kindle. Its FAQ describes event coverage across more than 35 categories; that is Amazon’s own count, not an independently audited figure. Category coverage does not confirm that a particular product or model is discounted, in stock, or available in your marketplace.

If you are looking for an e-reader, Amazon’s event coverage names Kindle, but it does not establish a deal price or availability for any specific Kindle model. Check the exact product listing before treating it as part of the sale.
How to check whether an offer is worth buying
- Open the listing in your local Amazon store. Confirm the exact model, seller, current price, stock, shipping details and whether the offer is available to your account.
- Check the item’s price history. Amazon says supported product pages have a Price History link with up to 365 days of pricing insights. Not every product necessarily has a full 365-day history, and price history alone does not prove that today’s offer is a good value. Amazon explains the feature in its announcement; its Prime Big Deal Days FAQ also offers shopping guidance.
- Compare like with like. For alternatives, compare the exact model and included features, current price against its own history, marketplace and Prime eligibility, and delivery or availability. A percentage-off label by itself does not show that an item is the lowest price or the best option.
- Decide based on your need and timing. Buy only if the product suits your needs at the live price; event dates do not guarantee that an offer will remain available until the final day.
Were deals available before the event?
