Amazon’s 2026 Prime Big Deal Days run October 6–7, with the U.S. event starting at 12:01 a.m. PDT on October 6 and ending at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7. The event is for Prime members, and Amazon says its featured “Today’s Big Deals” will appear at three scheduled times each day. Treat the advertised categories as places to browse—not a promise that any particular product will be discounted.
When is Prime Big Deal Days 2026?
Amazon has scheduled its U.S. Prime Big Deal Days event for October 6–7, 2026. Amazon says it begins at 12:01 a.m. PDT on October 6 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7, describing the event as 48 hours. See Amazon’s event overview for the announced schedule.

Amazon says members in 22 countries can shop the event, but dates may vary by country. The U.S. dates and PDT times should not be assumed to apply everywhere; check the local Amazon store for its schedule and offers.
Who can shop the deals?
Prime Big Deal Days offers are exclusive to Prime members. Amazon’s event FAQ lists U.S. membership at $14.99 per month or $139 per year; confirm the current price and membership terms on Amazon’s event FAQ before signing up.

When do Today’s Big Deals drop?
Amazon says its “Today’s Big Deals” will drop three times each day of the event:
- Midnight PDT
- 8 a.m. PDT
- 1 p.m. PDT
Amazon says these offers are available only while supplies last. If you are watching for a particular deal, check the event page around each scheduled drop and review the offer’s conditions, stock status, delivery date, and local availability before buying.

What kinds of deals is Amazon promoting?
Amazon says the event spans more than 35 categories. Its advertised themes include Halloween, fall hosting, seasonal décor, early holiday gifting, toys, and everyday essentials. These are shopping categories, not guarantees of a discount on every item.
Halloween and fall
Amazon highlights Halloween costumes and decorations, candy, party supplies, fall hosting items, and game-day goods. Blankets and seasonal candles are also among the examples in the announcement.

Holiday gifts and other categories
Amazon also points shoppers to holiday décor, gifts, toys, beauty, technology, kitchen, fashion, and home products. Its announcement names brands including Shark, Soundcore by ANKER, Fisher-Price, Hunter, LEGO, and Dyson as examples; it does not establish that a particular product from those brands will be available at a specific price.
Amazon’s September 14 announcement says more than one million items are at Amazon’s lowest price of the year so far. That is Amazon’s promotional claim, not an independently verified comparison across the market. Read the announcement at Amazon’s press release.

How to check whether a deal is worthwhile
A countdown or discount label alone does not show whether an item is a good buy. Compare the product’s current price with its own pricing history, and check the terms that affect what you will actually pay and when you will receive it.

- Open the product page and check Price History. Amazon says the feature displays up to 365 days of pricing data. Use that history as context for the current price rather than relying only on a displayed discount.
- Read the offer terms. Confirm the discount, Prime eligibility, any conditions, and whether the product is still in stock.
- Check delivery and availability. Confirm the delivery date for your location and whether the item can be shipped to you.
- Decide based on your need. For seasonal purchases, consider whether the item suits the occasion and will arrive in time—not just whether Amazon lists it as a deal.
Amazon also recommends checking Today’s Big Deals at each scheduled drop, using Alexa for Shopping for deal alerts, and browsing its Holiday Shop and annual Top 100+ Toys List. These are Amazon’s own shopping tools and recommendations; check product details directly for live prices and availability.
