Three early Amazon UK offers reported on October 3 put the Dyson V8 Origin at £204.99, the 16 GB Amazon Kindle at £94.99 and the Shark SpeedStyle Pro Flex at £139.99. The prices and previous-price comparisons below come from a Metro roundup carried in syndicated copy, not independently verified Amazon listings; check the live UK listing for the exact model, price and stock before buying. Amazon says Prime Big Deal Days 2026 runs October 6–7.
What are the early UK deals?
The October 3 Metro roundup reports the following prices and comparisons. These are different kinds of products, not alternatives to rank against one another.
| Product | Reported UK price | Previous price cited by the roundup | What the roundup lists |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dyson V8 Origin cordless vacuum cleaner | £204.99 | £329.99 | Up to 40 minutes of battery life, a Motorbar head and conversion to handheld use. |
| Amazon Kindle, 16 GB | £94.99 | £149.99 | Glare-free display, adjustable front light and weeks of battery life. |
| Shark SpeedStyle Pro Flex hair dryer | £139.99 | £199.99 | Four attachments and a foldable or bendable design. |
Model details, features and previous prices in this table are as described by the Metro roundup. Its previous-price comparisons are not independently established historical lows. Prices and stock can change, so verify the exact product and current price on Amazon UK before placing an order.
Which product suits your needs?
Dyson V8 Origin: cordless cleaning
The V8 Origin is the option for shoppers looking for a cordless vacuum, with handheld conversion and a Motorbar head among the features listed in the roundup. Check that the listing is specifically for the V8 Origin, rather than another V8 variant, and confirm what is included in the box.
#1 Best Overall
- Versatile and cordless for whole-home deep cleaning.
Amazon Kindle 16 GB: reading
The reported offer is for a 16 GB Kindle. If you are comparing it with another Kindle, confirm the storage and model on the listing: the US Kindle deals reported elsewhere include bundles and different configurations, not this UK standalone offer.
Shark SpeedStyle Pro Flex: drying and styling
This is a hair dryer and styling tool, not the Shark FlexStyle multi-styler named in some other market offers. Check the SpeedStyle Pro Flex model name and the attachment set before buying.
Rank #2
- Dyson V11 Cordless Vacuum, Wand, Docking Station, Charger, Mini Soft Dusting Brush, Crevice Tool, Hair Screw Tool, Motorbar Cleaner Head, Lithium Ion Battery (1)
- Versatile and cordless for whole-home deep cleaning.
- 60% more power.¹ Up to 60 minutes of run time.²
- Three power modes. Auto mode for everyday cleaning tasks—the optimal balance of power and run time to preserve the lifespan of your battery. Eco mode for maximum run time. Boost mode for intensive spot cleaning.
- LCD screen shows power modes, maintenance alerts, and remaining run time to the second.
When does Prime Big Deal Days 2026 start?
Amazon’s official US announcement gives the event as October 6–7, 2026: 48 hours of Prime-member-exclusive offers, beginning at 12:01 a.m. PDT on October 6. Amazon says the event spans more than 35 categories and includes brands such as Dyson and Shark, as well as early savings on Amazon devices, including Kindle bundles. The announcement is about the event generally; it does not confirm that these three specific UK products will have the listed prices during the event.
Recommended Free Tools
Amazon also claims that more than one million items will be at its lowest price of the year so far. That is Amazon’s promotional claim, not independent verification that any of these named products is at its annual low. The event timing and claims are in Amazon’s announcement.
Rank #3
- 2 Advanced cleaner heads and 4 attachments to clean up high, down low, and everywhere in between. Plus wall dock and charger.
Why prices and offers may differ by country
These figures are UK prices reported by the Metro roundup. Amazon Canada’s October 1 preview separately advertised up to 39% off selected Dyson vacuums and up to 38% off selected Shark FlexStyle systems; those are Canada-specific previews, not confirmation of UK prices or discounts. Amazon says those offers are subject to change and availability. See Amazon Canada’s preview for its market-specific details.
US reports also describe different configurations: a Kindle Colorsoft Essentials Bundle at $201 (previously $346) and a Kindle Paperwhite Essentials Bundle at $125 (previously $161), reported by Tom’s Guide, and a Shark FlexStyle Air Multi-Styler at $199.99 (previously $314), reported by TechRadar. These are not the UK Kindle 16 GB or Shark SpeedStyle Pro Flex offers, and their dollar prices should not be used to assess the UK listings.
Quick Recap
What to check before you buy
- Confirm the listing is for the exact model and configuration named above.
- Check the live Amazon UK price and stock; the reported prices can change.
- Treat the previous prices as the roundup’s comparisons, not proof of an all-time or annual low.
- Compare only products that perform the same task and have comparable configurations when deciding whether an offer suits you.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
