The Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026 sale is live in India. Amazon’s official sale article says it opened to all customers at midnight on October 8, 2026. The official pages reviewed for this article do not state a closing date, so treat the sale as running until Amazon announces otherwise, and check the offer terms on the product page before you pay.
What is confirmed about the sale
Amazon describes offers across electronics, home, kitchen, fashion, beauty and other categories. Its announcement highlights earbuds, speakers, Echo and Fire TV devices, smart TVs, large home appliances and home-theatre systems. Those are the categories the sale headline points to, but Amazon’s examples are not a complete ranking of the best deals in each category.
Three points are settled by Amazon’s own pages:
- The sale opened to all customers at midnight on October 8, 2026.
- The announcement describes a 10% instant discount on eligible SBI credit and debit card and EMI transactions.
- It also describes extra savings for Prime members and cashback, without stating the terms in the sections reviewed.
Bank, EMI and Prime offers are conditional
The 10% instant discount applies only to transactions that meet Amazon’s eligibility conditions, which means a qualifying SBI card or an SBI EMI payment. A buyer paying by another method will not get that reduction. Amazon’s official pages do not make every offer universal, so the discount you see on a listing is not automatically the discount you will pay.

Named product examples and reported prices
Amazon’s sale article names the products below. The prices and discounts are the figures Amazon reports, and they come from seller-supplied listings that Amazon reproduces without verifying them. Use them as examples of what the sale looks like, not as confirmed bargains.

JBL Vibe Beam 2 specifications
Amazon’s listing text describes 8 mm dynamic drivers, active noise cancelling, a Smart Ambient mode, up to 40 hours of total playback, four-microphone call technology, IP54 resistance, multipoint connectivity and fast charging. These are the seller’s claims. No independent test of the earbuds is part of this article, so check battery life and noise-cancelling performance against reviews from independent testers before buying.

Amazon’s opening-period figures
Amazon India has released the following comparisons for the sale’s opening period, which it describes as the first 12 hours or first day. They are company-reported, not independent market data, and they do not show how much any individual item was discounted.

- Products ordered rose 100% year on year.
- Home-entertainment sales were 77 times a regular day.
- 65% of TVs sold were 55 inches or larger.
- High-end home-theatre system sales were 100 times a regular day.
- Large-appliance sales were 50 times a regular day.
- Premium front-load washing machines of 9 kg and above sold at 80 times a regular day.
- Dryers and dishwashers sold at 60 times a regular day.
Saurabh Srivastava, Vice President, Amazon India, said the festival brings together customers, sellers and brands for “the country’s biggest shopping celebration.” He also said customers can expect “the lowest prices of the year” on crores of products. That is Amazon’s own description of its offer, so treat it as a claim rather than proof of the lowest price on any given item.

How to compare offers across categories
Different categories need different comparison points. A cheaper earbud and a cheaper washing machine are not comparable on price alone, so compare each product on the factors that matter for its category.

Checking the final price before you pay
A listed sale price is not the same as the amount you pay. Use this sequence for each product on your list:

- Open the product page on Amazon.in and confirm the exact model number, since the sale articles name models that may have variants.
- Check the seller, stock status and delivery to your pin code.
- Add the item to your cart and review the offers that apply to your payment method, such as the SBI card or EMI option.
- Compare the final payable amount with the amount you would pay without the eligible offers.
- For appliances and TVs, confirm the warranty and whether installation is included, and read the return terms before you place the order.
What these prices do and do not show

If you are shopping this sale, pick the exact model you want, check the price after eligible card, EMI and Prime offers, and confirm warranty, installation and returns for anything large. The headline discounts are a starting point, not the final price.
