The sticker adds a magnetic ring, not wireless charging. A phone that cannot charge wirelessly will not start doing so because of this sticker, and the adhesive is permanent enough that removing it from a case may leave residue.

Are MagSafe wallets useful for everyday use?
For most people carrying a few cards, yes. A magnetic wallet keeps two or three cards and a little cash on the phone, so you do not need a separate wallet for a quick trip.
