The Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen) was reported at $34.99 in deal coverage, including a 2026 Prime Day report that listed it at that price, down from $59.99. That is a strong discount against its documented launch price—but those reports do not confirm Amazon.com’s current price or stock. Check the listing before buying.
Is the Fire TV Stick 4K Max $34.99 right now?
$34.99 is a documented sale price, not a confirmed live price. Android Authority reported the stick at $34.99 and described the deal as 42% off in 2025 (Android Authority). TechRadar later reported a $34.99 Prime Day price, down from $59.99, in 2026 (TechRadar). Amazon listed the second-generation model at $59.99 when it launched in 2023 (Amazon).
The reports establish that $34.99 has been available during promotions; they do not establish today’s Amazon.com price or inventory. Treat $34.99 as a good deal if it appears on the listing when you shop, rather than as a guaranteed current price.

How does it compare with the regular Fire TV Stick 4K?
The strongest documented distinctions are the Max’s 16GB of storage and Wi-Fi 6E. The available specifications do not establish a complete, current side-by-side comparison with every regular Fire TV Stick 4K generation, including exact storage, Wi-Fi, format support, remote and live pricing. Amazon’s general help documentation says Fire TV devices can use Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet with the separately sold Amazon Ethernet Adapter (Amazon Ethernet help).

In practical terms, the Max is the better fit if you specifically want its extra storage or Wi-Fi 6E and your network can take advantage of it. If you only need 4K streaming, compare the exact model generations and prices on the listings rather than assuming every feature or price difference applies to all versions.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIs $34.99 a good price?
At $34.99, the reported deal is $25 below the 2023 launch price of $59.99. Android Authority characterized its 2025 offer as 42% off; TechRadar’s 2026 Prime Day report also recorded $34.99 against $59.99. These are dated price references, not a promise that the discount is available now.

If the live listing is still $34.99, it is a compelling price for a 4K television owner who wants Wi-Fi 6E, 16GB storage, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support. The premium features matter less if your TV is not 4K/HDR-capable, your network does not support Wi-Fi 6E, or your audio setup cannot use Atmos.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Should you buy it?
Buy at $34.99 if that price is currently displayed and you want the Max’s combination of 16GB storage, Wi-Fi 6E and broad HDR-format support. If the listing has returned to $59.99, weigh those features against your actual TV, network and sound setup before paying the launch-price amount. No independent performance testing is established here, so this recommendation is based on Amazon’s published specifications and the dated deal reports.
