The “$35” price needs a region and model attached. Amazon’s U.S. offer for its new 2026 Fire TV Stick 4K was $29.99 during Prime Big Deal Days on October 6–7, 2026; Amazon Italy announced €35.99 through October 12. As of October 8, the U.S. sale dates had passed, so check the live listing before treating any U.S. price as current.
Which Fire TV Stick was on sale, and where?
The headline price is not a universal U.S. deal. Amazon’s September 2026 announcement set the new Fire TV Stick 4K’s U.S. regular price at $59.99 and its limited-time Prime Big Deal Days price at $29.99 for October 6–7. That event had ended by October 8. Amazon’s U.S. announcement does not establish that the event price remains available afterward.
Amazon Italy announced a separate offer: €35.99 rather than €74.99, scheduled to end October 12. That is a country-specific euro price, not evidence of a current $35 U.S. listing. See Amazon Italy’s announcement for its regional offer.
Before buying, confirm the country storefront, exact model name, and checkout price. Fire TV Stick listings include several similarly named 4K models, and older models may remain available while supplies last, according to Amazon.

How did the Fire TV models compare during the U.S. event?
TechRadar’s October 2026 deal guide reported these U.S. event-period prices. They are a snapshot of that sale, not a promise of availability or current pricing on October 8.
| Model | U.S. event-period price | Distinction reported in the cited sources |
|---|---|---|
| Fire TV Stick 4K (2026) | $29.99 | New core 4K model. Amazon lists Wi-Fi 6, 8 GB storage, and HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG. |
| Fire TV Stick 4K Select | $17.99 | Lowest-priced 4K tier in TechRadar’s guide; verify its exact format support and current listing. |
| Fire TV Stick 4K Plus | $37.99 | TechRadar’s comparison lists Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, 8 GB storage, and Wi-Fi 6. |
| Fire TV Stick 4K Max | $44.99 | Amazon positions it as the premium, faster option with more storage, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and Alexa+ Home Theater. TechRadar’s guide lists 16 GB and Wi-Fi 6E. |
Prices are from TechRadar’s October deal guide. The guide also notes that some list prices rose before the event, which can inflate advertised discount percentages. Compare the checkout price and price history rather than relying on the percentage-off claim. Confirm generation-specific specifications on the product listing before purchase.

What does the 2026 Fire TV Stick 4K offer?
Amazon describes this as the core 4K tier, below the 4K Max. Its announced specifications include a quad-core 1.7 GHz processor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, 8 GB of storage, and video output up to 2160p at 60 frames per second. Supported formats listed by Amazon include HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, and common video formats. The TV and streaming service still need to support the content and formats you want to watch.

The stick runs Vega OS and includes Alexa+ and Amazon’s new Fire TV experience. Amazon says it has added over 2,000 apps to its Vega-based platform since launching its first Vega product the prior year; that is an Amazon-reported figure, not an independent app-store audit.

Amazon says the included Direct Power cable can power the device through a TV’s USB port, which may reduce cables and help tuck the stick behind a television or pack it for travel. Check that your TV’s USB connection works for this setup; the feature is a power option, not a guarantee of better performance.

Choose the 4K Stick 4K for the core tier
The 2026 4K model is the straightforward option if you want 4K streaming and its listed HDR formats, and do not need the premium features Amazon assigns to the Max. A low event price alone does not establish that it is the best value once the sale ends.

Consider the 4K Max for premium home-theater features
Amazon positions the 4K Max above the standard 4K Stick for greater speed, more storage, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and Alexa+ Home Theater. Those features matter most if your television and audio setup can use them. The specific storage and Wi-Fi 6E comparison comes from TechRadar’s guide, so check the exact generation in the listing.

Check Select and Plus model details before comparing
TechRadar’s guide lists Select as a lower-cost 4K option and Plus as a tier with Dolby Vision and Atmos support. It does not establish every model’s full specification or post-event price. Compare the exact listing’s format support, storage, and wireless standard against your needs rather than assuming the names alone explain the differences.
