Some Amazon Fire tablet deals were reported for Prime Big Deal Days, but the available offers do not show that every Fire tablet is on sale. A Fire HD 10 was reported at $72.99 and a Fire HD 8 Kids at $74.99 in October 2 coverage; Amazon’s event page listed up to 47% off the Fire HD 8 Kids Pro. Those are dated offers, not verified live prices. Check the exact model and checkout total before deciding whether to buy.
Which Amazon Fire tablets were reported on sale?
Tom’s Guide reported these prices in an article published October 2, 2026. They may have changed, and the coverage does not establish whether the same offers remain available now:

Should you buy a Fire tablet now or wait?
Amazon says Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6–7, 2026, and ends October 7 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Its announcement says deals are available while supplies last. That deadline can make a current offer worth acting on if it is for the exact model you want and the checkout price works for you; it does not show that prices will rise after the event or that any particular listing is still in stock.

Use this quick check before buying:
- Open the exact listing. Confirm the model, generation, storage capacity, and whether it is a Kids or Kids Pro version. A discount for one configuration does not establish a discount for another.
- Verify the transaction details. Check the seller, stock status, any Prime eligibility or membership requirement, and the price shown at checkout.
- Compare the price with your own buy threshold. If the current price is acceptable and the tablet fits your needs, the event’s end date is a reason to decide promptly—not proof that waiting will cost more. The available sources do not predict post-event prices.
Amazon says Alexa for Shopping can set deal alerts. Its event announcement gives details about the sale window and alerts.
Which Fire tablet should you compare?
Fire HD 8, Fire HD 10, Fire Max 11, and the Kids and Kids Pro versions serve different needs. Choose by screen size, workload, and support horizon rather than assuming the lowest advertised price is the best fit.

Fire HD 10 (2023): a larger screen for everyday use
Amazon lists the 2023 Fire HD 10 with a 10.1-inch 1080p display and 3GB of RAM. Amazon’s stated battery estimate is up to 13 hours. The tablet is compatible with Amazon’s Made for Amazon Stylus Pen and Bluetooth Keyboard Case; confirm compatibility for the specific generation before buying accessories.
Fire Max 11 (2023): a larger display and more memory
Amazon lists the 2023 Fire Max 11 with an 11-inch screen and 4GB of RAM, and estimates up to 14 hours of mixed-use battery life. It supports writing and drawing with the Made for Amazon Stylus Pen. These manufacturer specifications describe size, memory, and stated battery life; they are not an independent performance comparison.

Fire HD 8 and Kids versions: check the exact variant
A standard Fire HD 8 is not the same listing as a Fire HD 8 Kids or Kids Pro. Verify the name and configuration on the deal page and at checkout, especially if you are comparing a reported Kids-model offer with a standard tablet.
