Pourquoi le prix « quatre fois moins cher » n’est pas établi
Les comparatifs disponibles signalent des options moins chères, mais ne fournissent pas un relevé homogène et daté des prix français de ces traceurs et d’un AirTag. Android Central donne des prix en dollars américains, tandis que TechRadar rapporte une promotion australienne : ces montants ne prouvent ni le prix ni la disponibilité en France. Numerama évoque des alternatives moins chères, sans que les éléments disponibles établissent un rapport actuel de un à quatre. Numerama, Android Central, TechRadar.
Pour vérifier une telle affirmation, comparez le même jour le prix français à l’unité de l’AirTag et de chaque alternative. Comparez les lots séparément et identifiez clairement les promotions : un prix par balise calculé à partir d’un lot n’est pas directement comparable à un prix unitaire.

Un traceur Bluetooth ne fonctionne pas nécessairement avec tous les téléphones ni avec tous les réseaux de localisation. Avant l’achat, vérifiez la compatibilité du modèle exact et les exigences régionales du fabricant. - Android : recherchez explicitement la compatibilité Google Find Hub (appelé Localiser dans certains contextes), sans déduire la compatibilité du seul fait qu’un appareil utilise Android.
- Samsung : le Galaxy SmartTag2 est une piste à examiner pour un utilisateur Samsung; ne présumez pas qu’il fonctionne avec n’importe quel téléphone Android. Consultez les exigences actuelles de Samsung pour votre appareil et votre région.

Comment choisir sans payer pour les mauvaises fonctions
- Écartez les modèles incompatibles. Repérez le réseau de localisation et le téléphone exigés pour le modèle exact.
- Comparez le format. Pour des clés ou un sac, un format porte-clés peut convenir; pour un portefeuille, vérifiez si la gamme propose une carte adaptée. La disponibilité dépend du modèle.
- Vérifiez l’alimentation. Regardez si la batterie est rechargeable ou si le traceur utilise une pile remplaçable, et consultez l’autonomie annoncée par le fabricant.
- Évaluez les caractéristiques utiles à votre usage. Comparez portée annoncée, résistance et fonctions distinctives sur les fiches de la version vendue; ne traitez pas ces annonces comme des résultats de test indépendant.
- Faites le calcul au prix français du jour. Comparez les prix unitaires, puis les lots séparément, en notant le vendeur et toute promotion.
