Alphacool’s ES 1-Slot Design range now includes blocks reported for four professional GPUs: NVIDIA’s RTX PRO 4000, RTX PRO 4500 and RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition, plus AMD’s Radeon AI PRO R9700. The key buying caveat is compatibility: Alphacool’s detailed RTX PRO 4000 listing specifies the PNY card, while the RTX PRO 6000 Workstation Edition block is a separate fit from the Server Edition model. These are custom-loop blocks, not standalone coolers.
Which GPUs are covered, and which exact cards fit?
An 8 October 2026 report says the expanded family targets the four GPUs below. For the RTX PRO 4000 and RTX PRO 6000 Workstation Edition, Alphacool’s product pages provide more precise compatibility details than the report does for the other models.
| Block target | Compatibility established in the available product information | Reported price |
|---|---|---|
| RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell | Alphacool lists the PNY RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell GPU. The product is “Alphacool ES RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell 1-Slot-Design,” Article No. 5100408. | €324.98 |
| RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell | Named in the 8 October launch report; exact board-partner compatibility and detailed specifications are not established by the cited product information. | €399.98 |
| RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition | Alphacool lists NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition, 96 GB GDDR7. | €399.98 |
| Radeon AI PRO R9700 | Named in the 8 October launch report; exact board-partner compatibility and detailed specifications are not established by the cited product information. | €324.98 |
Do not treat the RTX PRO 6000 Workstation Edition block as interchangeable with the Server Edition block. Alphacool lists a separate Server Edition SKU that supports the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition and Max-Q Workstation Edition, both 96 GB GDDR7. Confirm the exact card in Alphacool’s GPU configurator before ordering.
What are the dimensions and slot footprints?
The official product pages describe both detailed models as one-slot blocks, but a one-slot cooler footprint is not a guarantee of whole-system fit. Case clearance, motherboard layout, card revision and other components can still affect installation.
#1 Best Overall
- Water block for the PNY GeForce RTX 5080 EPIC-X graphics card
- Part of the Core product series, these coolers combine the highest quality with exceptional performance
- The series continues to feature high-quality brass connectors that ensure optimal quality and safety
- The specially adapted aluminum backplate covers the entire backside of the copper cooler, ensuring a clear and uniform appearance
- Complete dimensions (L x W x H): 180 x 124.10 x 34.07mm
| Model | Block dimensions | Slot footprint |
|---|---|---|
| RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell, PNY-compatible listing | 264.30 × 94.70 × 20.70 mm | One slot |
| RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition | 231.10 × 121.82 × 19.90 mm | One slot |
Dimensions and slot claims for the RTX PRO 4500 and Radeon AI PRO R9700 are not stated in the cited detailed product pages. Check the matching product listing and your system clearances rather than inferring fit from the family name. Igor’sLAB also cautions that a one-slot cooler does not automatically establish case, motherboard or card-revision compatibility.
What materials and ports do the detailed blocks use?
The RTX PRO 4000 block has a chrome-plated copper cooler, aluminum backplate, brass terminal and two G1/4 ports. The RTX PRO 6000 Workstation Edition block has a chrome-plated copper cooler, aluminum cover, brass terminal and two G1/4 ports. Do not assume that the Server Edition’s construction or the detailed specifications of either model apply to the newer RTX PRO 4500 or Radeon block.

What else is needed to use one?
These products are water blocks for a custom liquid-cooling loop, not self-contained AIO coolers. The RTX PRO 4000 listing identifies tubing, fittings, quick releases, and a pump/reservoir among recommended accessories. A working loop also needs an appropriate radiator and coolant; component choices depend on the rest of the build. The blocks’ two ports use G1/4 connections, so check that fittings and other loop parts match.
For the RTX PRO 6000 Workstation Edition, Alphacool recommends clear transparent cooling fluid. Its product page warns that particles and additives in pastel liquids can clog and permanently damage water-cooling products and may affect warranty coverage.

What do they cost, and are they in stock?
The 8 October 2026 launch report gives prices of €324.98 for the RTX PRO 4000 and Radeon AI PRO R9700 blocks, and €399.98 for the RTX PRO 4500 and RTX PRO 6000 Workstation Edition blocks. These are reported euro prices, not guaranteed checkout prices in every country; VAT, shipping, location, stock and timing can change the amount or availability.
Alphacool’s RTX PRO 4000 product page independently displayed €324.98 and “in stock” when accessed for the 9 October 2026 research check. That is a time-specific listing, not a promise of current or regional availability. Verify the exact model on Alphacool’s RTX PRO 4000 product page or its current product page for the card you own before buying.

Have independent outlets tested performance?
No independent comparative thermal, acoustic, reliability or multi-GPU results were found in the reviewed coverage. Igor’sLAB described its article as product information rather than a review and said the products had not been tested by the outlet. Alphacool’s specifications and the launch report therefore establish product details and reported prices, not measured temperature reductions or performance gains.
