Current October 2, 2026 guides report seven Fortnitemares bosses: Freddy Krueger, Freddy Fazbear, Foxy, Chica, Bonnie, Adam Smasher, and Hush. Freddy Krueger’s location at Nightmare Neighborhood and his Freddy’s Nightmare weapon are confirmed in Epic’s October 1 event announcement; the rest of the location and loot details below come from current player guides, not a complete official loot table.
Fortnitemares 2026 boss locations and reported rewards
The table separates where guides say each boss can appear from the Mythic reward they report. Spawns are not all equally predictable, and none of these sources establishes exact coordinates or guaranteed appearances.
| Boss | Reported location or spawn | Reported Mythic reward | Other reported drops or tactics |
|---|---|---|---|
| Freddy Krueger | Nightmare Neighborhood. He may appear disguised as a regular NPC rather than marked with a skull. | Freddy’s Nightmare, a Mythic melee claw item that lets you teleport into range and slash opponents. | Guides report Slap Candy Corn, a random Fortnitemares Sprite, and a 1-Up Token. He can teleport during the fight. |
| Freddy Fazbear | Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, reported in the northeast of the island; guides say he may move during a match. | Reported as Wood Stake Shotgun or “High Stakes’ Shotgun,” depending on the guide. | Guides report a Chug Jug, a random Sprite, and Possess Animatronic Shell. |
| Foxy | Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, often near the stage at the start; he may move. | Reported as Wood Stake Shotgun or “High Stakes’ Shotgun,” depending on the guide. | Guides report a Chug Jug, a random Sprite, and Possess Animatronic Shell. |
| Chica | Random island spawn; guides do not establish a fixed location or reliable skull marker. | Reported as Wood Stake Shotgun or “High Stakes’ Shotgun,” depending on the guide. | Guides report a Chug Jug, a random Sprite, and Possess Animatronic Shell. |
| Bonnie | Random island spawn; guides do not establish a fixed location or reliable skull marker. | Reported as Wood Stake Shotgun or “High Stakes’ Shotgun,” depending on the guide. | Guides report a Chug Jug, a random Sprite, and Possess Animatronic Shell. |
| Adam Smasher | Reported near Geno’s Machine or Sunken Shores; he may also appear through a Boss Drop Rift Anomaly at a random island location. | Rebecca’s Guns Mythic. | Guides report a Chug Jug, a random Sprite, and a 1-Up Token. His jump can close distance quickly. |
| Hush | Reported at Reality’s Reign or Heatwave Harbor; she may also appear through a Boss Drop Rift Anomaly at a random island location. | Enhanced Assault Rifle Mythic. | Guides report a Chug Jug, a random Sprite (with better Gold Sprite odds), and a 1-Up Token. |
These location and reward details are reported by guides updated October 2, 2026. The Epic event announcement confirms Freddy Krueger at Nightmare Neighborhood and Freddy’s Nightmare, but does not provide a full seven-boss table.
Which bosses are easiest to look for?
Start at the named points of interest
Freddy Krueger is reported at Nightmare Neighborhood. Freddy Fazbear and Foxy are reported at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. These named-POI reports give you a starting search area, but do not guarantee the boss will remain at the initial spot or appear in every match.
#1 Best Overall

- ARTICULATED: Feature 28 points of articulation to win any Battle Royale

Search the island for Chica and Bonnie
Current guides describe Chica and Bonnie as random spawns, with no fixed POI or dependable skull marker. Check the live map and nearby activity rather than relying on a single drop location.
Watch for Boss Drop Rift Anomalies
Adam Smasher and Hush are reported at named locations as well as through Boss Drop Rift Anomalies that can appear around the island. Their anomaly appearances make them less predictable than a search limited to their listed POIs.
What to know about the animatronic shotgun and shell
Guides disagree about the animatronics’ Mythic shotgun name: TechWiser and AllThings. How call it “Wood Stake Shotgun,” while Beebom calls it “High Stakes’ Shotgun.” Epic’s event article identifies Wood Stake Shotgun as a returning event weapon, but does not explicitly confirm it as the animatronic bosses’ Mythic drop. Use the item’s live in-game display name to settle the label.

Possess Animatronic Shell is a possession mechanic, not a permanent cosmetic. Epic confirms that players can possess an animatronic boss; guides report the shell as a drop from the animatronics. Do not treat it as an owned skin.

Epic’s October 1, 2026 Fortnitemares announcement says Freddy Krueger is waiting at Nightmare Neighborhood and describes Freddy’s Nightmare as claws that let players teleport into range and slash opponents. It also confirms that the event spans Battle Royale, Horde Rush, and Reload, with new characters arriving throughout October.
The seven-boss roster, most spawn patterns, and the detailed drops in the table are guide reports, not an official complete roster or loot table. The October 2 guides agree on the seven names, but the animatronic shotgun name differs. Since event content can change through October, check the live game or Epic patch notes if a boss, location, or reward does not match what you see. An October 15 boss-update date appears in guides but is not confirmed by Epic’s announcement.
