WoW Forever’s beta directory lists 14 quests assigned to Excavation Site: Wetlands. Quest-log levels range from 28 to 31, and the pages say they can be picked up from level 24; that is different from the dungeon’s Group Finder level of 26 and its recommended level range of 26–32. The list below reflects beta build 1.60.1.70205 as of 3 October 2026, so locations and availability may change.
All Excavation Site quests and where to start them
The quest-log level is shown separately from the level at which the quest can be accepted. “Assigned instance” means the quest is filed under Excavation Site: Wetlands; it does not mean the quest starts inside the dungeon.

Where the dungeon is and what the level numbers mean
Excavation Site: Wetlands is a five-player dungeon in the Wetlands, Eastern Kingdoms. The beta dungeon reference lists level 26 for Group Finder; Wowhead’s overview recommends levels 26–32. Those figures describe dungeon access or suitability, not the printed quest level or the level at which an individual quest becomes available. A quest page’s level-24 pickup note is not a recommendation to enter the instance at level 24.

Getting to the Wetlands
- Alliance: Wowhead describes routes via Menethil Harbor or Loch Modan.
- Horde: Travel overland through Hillsbrad Foothills and Arathi Highlands.
A secondary dungeon guide reports the entrance at coordinates 52,38; treat that as a guide-reported coordinate rather than a verified map pin. Wowhead describes the entrance as being at the top of the hill.

The 14-quest count and individual quest details come from WoW Forever Talents’ beta quest directory and linked quest pages reading beta build 1.60.1.70205 on 3 October 2026. The directory says it reads answers returned by the beta server to a running client; that is the site’s stated method, not an official Blizzard statement. Wowhead’s Forever dungeon pages were updated 2 October and caution that beta coverage may be incomplete. Treat the list as a snapshot, not a guarantee that the quests or their requirements will remain unchanged.
