Alexa+ is gaining a travel-booking integration with eDreams ODIGEO that is intended to let customers search for and book flights, hotels and rental cars through a natural-language conversation. The partnership was announced on 7 October 2026, but no exact public launch date or initial market list has been given.
What Alexa+ will let you book
eDreams ODIGEO says customers will be able to use Alexa+ to find and book flights, hotels and car rentals. The announcement describes this as a voice-first way to discover and book travel, rather than a feature that is already available to every Alexa user. eDreams ODIGEO’s 7 October announcement explains the confirmed categories.
T3 reports a wider set of possible trip components—packages and rail as well as flights, hotels and car rental—and says rollout is expected in the coming weeks. Packages and rail are not included in the categories enumerated in eDreams ODIGEO’s announcement, so treat their inclusion at launch as unconfirmed. T3’s 8 October report also describes the rollout timing, without naming a specific date.

You will be able to describe preferences in ordinary language—for example, asking Alexa+ to look for a trip that fits your dates or travel needs. The eDreams ODIGEO integration uses an MCP connection to let Alexa+ query the company’s travel platform and present relevant options during the conversation. MCP is the connection layer; the announcement does not establish that a particular sample prompt or booking flow has been tested publicly. The company’s announcement describes the integration.

T3 reports that eDreams ODIGEO will act as merchant of record for completed transactions. The company says it manages supplier integrations, IATA licensing, financial guarantees and round-the-clock customer support. Those operational responsibilities are relevant to who supports a booking; the announcement does not provide comparative pricing, inventory-quality or booking-outcome data.
When it will be available—and where
T3 says the rollout is expected in the coming weeks, but neither its report nor the eDreams ODIGEO announcement specifies an exact public launch date, initial countries or supported languages. Availability should therefore be treated as forthcoming and market-dependent, not as a feature already enabled for all Echo owners.

Alexa+ itself has separate country, device and access eligibility rules. Amazon says customers in participating Early Access markets may get access through a new eligible Echo device or by registering an existing compatible device for an invitation. Alexa+ can also be accessed through the Alexa app or browser in supported markets. Check Amazon’s international availability information and its Alexa+ availability page for the current local requirements; an Echo or Echo Show is one route, not necessarily a universal hardware requirement.
What the platform figures do—and do not—tell you
T3 reports that eDreams ODIGEO’s wider platform spans more than 40,000 destinations and nearly 700 airlines across 44 countries. These are figures attributed to the company’s platform, not a confirmed description of the inventory that Alexa+ will expose at launch. T3 also reports the company’s claim that its systems make more than six billion online predictions daily; that volume does not, by itself, establish booking accuracy or a particular benefit to customers. T3’s report is the source for these figures.

How this differs from Alexa+’s Expedia connection
Amazon has separately announced an Expedia integration for finding, suggesting, comparing, booking and managing hotel stays through Expedia’s lodging inventory. That is a lodging-focused scope, while eDreams ODIGEO’s announcement names flights, hotels and car rentals. The services should not be assumed to offer identical inventory or trip components. T3 also identifies Priceline, Viator and Virgin Atlantic among early Alexa+ travel partners, but their presence does not establish that they provide eDreams ODIGEO’s booking scope. Amazon’s Expedia announcement describes that integration.
