ALEC Holdings says it plans to grow by strengthening its UAE construction base, expanding in Saudi Arabia and data centres, improving project delivery through technology and operational controls, and pursuing selective acquisitions. Its 2025 Integrated Annual Report groups that approach into six pillars. Those are the company’s stated priorities and intended benefits—not independently verified evidence that growth or margin targets will be achieved.
What ALEC Holdings does
ALEC describes itself as a diversified engineering and construction group focused on complex building and energy projects in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Its official IPO page identifies ALEC Construction and Target Engineering as core offerings, alongside related businesses in areas such as fit-out, MEP, data centres, modular solutions, technology, facades and equipment rental. This mix gives context to the company’s description of an integrated platform; it does not establish that every business is equally significant or that combining them automatically reduces costs.

The six pillars of ALEC’s growth strategy
ALEC presents the pillars as an interconnected plan: build from its existing base, pursue growth in selected markets and sectors, improve how projects are delivered, and add capabilities selectively.
#1 Best Overall
| Pillar | What it targets | Role in the plan |
|---|---|---|
| Core business | The established construction platform, particularly in the UAE | Strengthen the base from which the group can pursue further growth |
| Technology and innovation | Project methods and tools, including BIM, robotics, modular construction and data-driven controls | Support productivity and project delivery, as ALEC intends |
| KSA | Expansion in Saudi Arabia | Extend the group’s geographic reach through targeted growth |
| Data centres | Data-centre projects and related capabilities | Develop a named sector priority |
| Operational excellence | Operational discipline and project controls | Support delivery consistency and the company’s stated margin ambitions |
| Acquisitions | Selective additions of capabilities | Broaden the platform where ALEC sees strategic value |
The pillar descriptions and their expected benefits are ALEC’s own account in its 2025 Integrated Annual Report.
How technology and operational discipline fit together
ALEC says it uses building information modelling (BIM), robotics, modular construction and data-driven project controls to support productivity and project delivery. In the strategy, technology is paired with operational excellence: tools and methods are intended to work alongside stronger controls and execution discipline, rather than serve as a growth strategy on their own.
These are company-reported aims. The cited strategy materials do not independently quantify their effect on productivity, delivery times, project outcomes or margins. The strategy therefore describes what ALEC intends these practices to do, not a demonstrated result for every project.

Why Saudi Arabia and data centres are priorities
ALEC identifies Saudi Arabia (KSA) and data centres as areas for targeted expansion. The company’s broader construction and engineering mix provides context for these priorities, but the strategy materials do not establish that particular contracts, market share or financial returns are guaranteed. The stated direction is expansion into named markets and sectors, not a promise of a specific outcome.

What selective acquisitions are meant to add
ALEC frames acquisitions as selective and value-accretive: additions are presented as a way to expand capabilities, not as growth for its own sake. The company’s official materials cite Target Engineering as an example of expanded capabilities. That example illustrates the strategic rationale, but does not by itself show that future acquisitions will create value or produce particular financial results.

Taken together, ALEC’s stated model links its UAE core to geographic and sector expansion, then pairs that growth with technology, operational controls and selective capability-building. It is a company strategy, not an independent assessment of execution, financial prospects or sustainability performance. The materials cited here explain the intended direction and benefits; they do not verify that the plan will deliver projected growth or margin outcomes.
