The Akitas Pro C11 is a bagged cylinder vacuum with a 2.2L capacity, listed weight of about 5.7kg and manufacturer-stated suitability for hard floors and carpets. Its published power figures conflict: Akitas lists 900W, the manual gives 2,200W maximum, and CHOICE lists 2,200W stated versus 1,400W measured. Those figures do not establish cleaning performance. The available evidence supports a useful specification check, but not a verdict on high-pile carpet, allergy control or pet-hair pickup.
What kind of vacuum is the Akitas Pro C11?
The C11 is a bagged cylinder vacuum. Akitas describes it as suitable for hard floors and carpets, and its manual lists a combination floor tool. The brand’s launch announcement promotes the design for whole-home cleaning, but that is manufacturer language rather than an independent performance finding. Does it have true HEPA filtration?
The manual identifies a HEPA filter inside the exhaust grill, and Akitas describes the exhaust filtration as H13-grade HEPA. The available listing does not establish independent certification or test results for that claim. It is therefore accurate to say the C11 is specified with an exhaust HEPA filter, but not to treat the H13 description as independently verified or as proof of a particular allergy benefit. What comes in the box, and what replacement parts are available?
The manual lists a combination floor tool, upholstery tool, 2-in-1 crevice tool and two disposable bags as included accessories. Akitas’ catalogue lists C11/C11T-compatible bag holders, pre-filters, HEPA filters and an eight-pack of disposable bags. The catalogue’s indexed bag price was £21.19 at the time reflected in the listing; current pricing and stock may differ. Is the C11 suitable for high-pile carpet, allergies or pet hair?
The available product information establishes only the manufacturer’s broad claim that the C11 is suitable for carpets and hard floors. It does not provide a high-pile suitability rating, independent allergy-filtration certification, or detailed test results for pet-hair pickup. Buyers prioritizing those needs should look for model-specific test evidence and confirmation of the floor head’s suitability for their carpet, rather than infer performance from the power rating or HEPA wording.

What should you compare before choosing it over the C11T?
Akitas’ December 2025 launch announcement says the C11T includes a mini turbo brush; the standard C11 description does not establish that it includes one. That accessory difference is worth checking if you need a tool for upholstery or pet hair, but it is not evidence by itself that either model cleans better. For a meaningful comparison, check the included powered or turbo brush, floor-head type and carpet suitability, published independent test results, replacement-bag and filter availability, reach, weight, local price and warranty.
