AKIBA LOST is scheduled to launch on Steam on October 20 (PDT), according to the latest announcement from publisher and developer IzanagiGames. The Steam store listing still shows an older September 16, 2026 date, so the announcement is the more recent date to use.

IzanagiGames announced October 20 (PDT) as the Steam launch date for AKIBA LOST. The Steam product listing retains a September 16, 2026 release date, which conflicts with the newer announcement. What kind of game is AKIBA LOST?
AKIBA LOST is a live-action suspense adventure set around “The Akiba Vanishing,” an unsolved case involving six girls who disappeared in Akihabara. The story follows game creator Daiki Shinjo as he announces a game based on the incident; then new disappearances begin and the fictional story starts to overlap with reality. The official Steam page describes its central systems as branching choices, character switching called “zapping,” and a 360-degree camera feature.

Yes. The Steam demo listing says players can experience the available characters through the morning of Day 1 in the game’s seven-day story. It also says demo save data can carry over to the full version. That makes the demo a way to try the opening and continue with transferred progress after launch, rather than a separate full-story release.

What is included in the Steam release?
IzanagiGames’ announcement names the full game, an Original Soundtrack, a Drama Movie, and a Digital Deluxe Edition bundle. The announcement says the soundtrack and drama movie each come bundled with pixel-art character costume sets; the Digital Deluxe Edition includes the full game and all DLC.
The announcement describes digital Steam content. It does not establish a physical game edition, soundtrack disc, printed guide, merchandise, or collectible. Prices and regional availability are not specified in the cited announcement.
