Are AirPods Pro 3 worth it at $179?
At the reported price, the $70 reduction may make the purchase more appealing if you want Apple’s noise-control modes and ecosystem-oriented features. MacRumors also reported Apple’s claim that AirPods Pro 3 provide twice the Active Noise Cancellation of the previous generation; that is a report of Apple’s product claim, not an independent measurement.
Whether they are worth $179 depends on your device compatibility and which features matter to you. If Live Translation, hearing capabilities, or the workout heart-rate sensor are central to your decision, verify that your devices, software, language, and location support them before buying. The available information does not establish a like-for-like comparison with competing earbuds, so it is not enough to declare AirPods Pro 3 the better choice for every shopper.
