These are historical prices, not verified current offers. The $119.99 iPhone was a refurbished iPhone XR—not a new iPhone.

What the report said distinguished the ANC configuration
- Active noise cancellation and Live Translation support.
- A wireless charging case compatible with Apple Watch and Qi chargers.
- Find My support.
HotHardware also described features shared by the two configurations: an H2 chip, Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking, Adaptive EQ, a force sensor, IP54 water-, sweat- and dust-resistance, up to five hours of listening per charge, and up to 30 hours with the case. Those are details reported in the 2025 sale article, not a current product comparison. Apple’s former AirPods 4 page now redirects to its AirPods 5 product page, so that page should not be mistaken for confirmation of the older sale listing or its terms.
Which iPhones were “starting at $119”?
The headline’s starting price referred to a refurbished iPhone XR at Woot, listed from $119.99. It did not refer to a new iPhone. HotHardware also reported Grade A refurbished iPhone SE (3rd generation) listings from $129.99 and iPhone 11 listings from $159.99. Those prices describe Woot listings reported on November 10, 2025, and should not be treated as current offers.

What Woot’s reported Grade A condition meant
HotHardware relayed Woot’s listing description: Grade A devices were “inspected and guaranteed to have minimal cosmetic damage, which is not noticeable when the device is held at arm’s length.” The article further said the devices had passed a full diagnostic, worked like new, and had at least 85% battery capacity. These were retailer listing claims reported by HotHardware, not results of independent testing. The article specifically reported a one-year limited warranty for the 256GB refurbished iPhone 16 Pro Max listing; it did not establish that warranty for every listed iPhone.
