In the U.S., sign in to Afterpay and open My Afterpay to see your Available to Spend estimate. To see what you still owe, check your active orders in the Afterpay app. These are different amounts: Available to Spend is not a statement of your unpaid balance.
Which Afterpay balance do you want to check?
- What you still owe: Look at active orders in the Afterpay app. The active-orders view lists purchases with a balance still to be paid. [Afterpay’s active-orders instructions]
- What you may be able to spend: Open My Afterpay in your account and check Available to Spend. It is an estimate for Pay in 4, not a guaranteed approval amount. Afterpay assesses each order individually, and a retailer may also apply its own limit. [Afterpay’s Available to Spend explanation]
Check your available-to-spend estimate
- Sign in to your Afterpay account in the app or online.
- Open My Afterpay.
- Find Available to Spend to view the estimate shown for your account. [Afterpay’s Available to Spend explanation]
Check the remaining balance on an order
- Open the Afterpay app and sign in.
- Go to your active orders.
- Select or review the order to see its outstanding balance and payment information. The active-orders view is for orders that still have a balance to pay. [Afterpay’s active-orders instructions]
If you paid through Cash App
Check the purchase in Cash App. Afterpay says purchases made through a Cash App account do not appear in the Afterpay app’s active-orders view. [Afterpay’s active-orders instructions]

Find account activity or a monthly statement
Afterpay’s U.S. billing FAQ says monthly statements are available in the app. If you cannot access the app, the FAQ says to contact Afterpay to request a statement by email. Account activity can also be viewed on the website. [Afterpay’s billing statements FAQ]

If the balance is missing or does not look right
Use Help in the official Afterpay app or visit the U.S. Afterpay Help Center. The Help Center lists in-app chat as available 24/7 and phone support at (833) 844-8095, daily from 8 AM to 9:30 PM Eastern Time.
