Leofric is an Intelligence-type Hypogean support hero whose described kit combines enemy disruption with temporary protection for himself and an ally. A BlueStacks guide recommends keeping him behind a tank and pairing him with crowd-control-focused heroes. Its skill values and team ideas are historical guide information, not confirmation of current balance or competitive rankings.
Who is Leofric in AFK Arena?
BlueStacks classifies Leofric as a Hypogean support hero of the Intelligence type; AFK Global lists the same basic classification. The BlueStacks Content Team describes him as “a support hero who can buff allies.” Its character story portrays him as a wealthy traveling merchant who becomes an earl and receives a mansion near Kuilin City. Lord Lester suspects Leofric is a Hypogean, but the two reach an arrangement that gives Lester access to Leofric’s resources and knowledge. The guide speculates about a possible connection to Mortas, but does not establish it as fact. BlueStacks’ Leofric guide; AFK Global’s Leofric listing.

What do Leofric’s skills do?
The following effects and values are those reported in the BlueStacks guide. They have not been verified against current official in-game documentation, so check the live ability descriptions for present tuning.
| Skill | Effect described in the guide |
|---|---|
| Shadow Mastiff | Summons a statue near the enemy with the highest Attack Rating and taunts that enemy for 8 seconds. The statue has health equal to 1,150% of Leofric’s Attack Rating. If destroyed before the timer ends, the attacking enemy permanently loses 18% Attack Rating, once per enemy. If it survives, it deals 290% damage to the attacker when the timer ends. |
| Hell Wyrms | Deals 250% damage to nearby enemies, removes 90 Energy points, and reduces Energy Recovery by 50% for 4 seconds for enemies hit. The guide says the Energy Recovery effect cannot stack. |
| Unmasked Horror | Terrifies enemies in front of Leofric who are facing him for 3 seconds and reduces their Attack Rating by 20% for 6 seconds. The guide says the effect cannot stack. |
| Perfect Disguise | Makes Leofric and his most injured ally immune to damage and attacks for 5 seconds. While the ally is immune, 50% of damage dealt by that ally is converted into their health, according to the guide. |
| Signature Item at +30 | Enemies struck by Hell Wyrms take 35% more damage from the team’s attacks, as described by the guide. |
As presented, the kit’s main jobs are to interrupt or weaken enemies and create a brief defensive window for Leofric and an injured teammate. Shadow Mastiff can also punish an enemy that attacks its statue, while Hell Wyrms targets Energy as well as health. These are descriptions of the guide’s reported mechanics rather than a claim about how effectively they perform in the current game.

Where should you position Leofric?
The BlueStacks guide recommends placing Leofric behind a capable tank rather than treating him as a frontliner. That advice fits the role the guide assigns him: his listed abilities disrupt enemies and protect an ally temporarily, while the proposed formation leaves the tank to occupy the frontline. The guide does not provide current mode-specific positioning data or a tested formation.
Which heroes does the guide suggest pairing with him?
BlueStacks proposes a crowd-control-oriented team and names Mezoth, Mehira, and Grezhul as possible partners. These are suggestions from that guide, not verified best-in-slot choices or current-meta recommendations.
- Mezoth: Presented as a tank who can recover health and gain a defensive shield.
- Mehira: Presented as a damage dealer with crowd-control and self-healing abilities.
- Grezhul: Presented as a tank who summons skeletal allies; the guide suggests him for teams involving mages.
Consider whether a prospective partner contributes the protection, disruption, or damage your lineup needs, and assess the combination in the game mode you play. The available guide information does not establish comparative results for PvE or PvP.

When was Leofric introduced?

What is not established about Leofric today?
The sources support a basic hero classification, a historical description of his abilities, and suggestions for positioning and partners. They do not verify current skill tuning, acquisition routes, or competitive usefulness. For those decisions, rely on the skill text and availability information currently shown in AFK Arena rather than assuming the guide’s values or suggestions remain unchanged.
