AFK Arena’s Joker is its crossover version of the Persona 5 character: a Dimensional Agility Ranger whose kit, as described in a January 2021 guide, centers on targeting an enemy, applying control, and triggering All-Out Attack. That guide’s damage values, team suggestions, and acquisition routes are historical—not confirmed current game data—so check the live client before relying on them.
Who is Joker in AFK Arena?
In AFK Arena, Joker is the game’s version of the Persona 5 character. BlueStacks’ January 11, 2021 guide classifies him as a Dimensional hero, an Agility-type Ranger, and credits Xander Mobus as his voice actor. The descriptions and figures below reflect that guide, not a verified current skill sheet.
How Joker’s abilities worked in the 2021 guide
The guide presents Joker as a fighter who marks a Combat Target, gains an interaction with that target’s faction, and can capitalize on control effects. Its listed percentages and timings should be treated as historical values.

Adverse Reaction
At battle start, Joker selects an opposing enemy as his Combat Target. If that enemy is not Dimensional, Joker temporarily changes faction to gain a factional damage bonus against the target, while also becoming subject to other factions’ bonus effects. The guide says advantaged hits knock the target down for two seconds and weaken it, adding 30% damage over five seconds. Knockdown and weakening can affect the target once every seven seconds. If the target is defeated, Joker chooses the enemy with the highest Combat Rating.
Concentrated Fire
After four normal attacks, Joker fires his gun at the Combat Target for 180% damage, as reported in the article.
All-Out Attack
When three or more enemies—or all enemies—are controlled, Joker attacks all enemies for 300% damage. The 2021 guide says the ability requires surviving allies, can trigger once every seven seconds, and can occur no more than three times in a battle.

Later AFK.GUIDE patch notes record several Joker-specific changes, which is one reason not to treat the 2021 descriptions as a definitive current specification. AFK.GUIDE describes itself as an unaffiliated fansite; these notes document fixes, not Joker’s current balance or standing in the meta.

- Version 1.55 says knocked-down enemies count as controlled when checking All-Out Attack’s trigger conditions.
- Version 1.124 addresses a special-effects issue with All-Out Attack in extreme situations and says actual battle effects were unaffected.
- Version 1.138 notes a fix for an All-Out Attack anomaly in extreme situations.
Those notes do not provide a complete present-day skill description or establish current ability values, viability, or team rankings.
Team ideas from the historical guide
BlueStacks’ article recommends treating these as options to test rather than a current optimal lineup. Its advice focuses on giving Joker opportunities to exploit his target interaction and meet All-Out Attack’s control condition.

- Test against single-faction enemy teams: the guide suggests Adverse Reaction may provide factional advantage, a knockdown, and a temporary damage increase against Joker’s selected target.
- Bring crowd control: control effects can help meet the reported All-Out Attack trigger condition.
- Consider the named examples as historical suggestions: the article mentions Khazard, Ferael, and Izold. It points to Ferael’s Terrorize as a way to stun three enemies at max, and to Izold’s Noxious Blast.
How the 2021 guide said to get Joker
The January 2021 article listed two routes: purchase through Merchants → Heroic Ship, or obtain Joker through the Dimensionals exchange. It gave an exchange cost of 4,000 Hero Coins, Guild Coins, or Labyrinth Tokens, or 13,333 Gladiator Coins, for one copy. These are historical instructions and prices; the cited later patch notes do not confirm that either route or those costs remain available. Check the current in-game interface for Joker’s availability and any exchange requirements.
