Hodgkin is a Graveborn frontline tank whose kit combines enemy debuffs and soul siphoning with protection and buffs for allies. BlueStacks recommends using him on the frontline, particularly when facing enemies with strong recovery, and names Ferael and Silas as possible teammates. Its rankings and advice are the guide’s recommendations, not a verified current competitive assessment.
What Hodgkin does
AFK Global classifies Hodgkin as an Ascended Graveborn tank of the strength type. His abilities focus on affecting enemy damage, healing and control while helping allies survive or deal more damage. BlueStacks describes the following skills and upgrades; the figures are from that guide and have not been independently confirmed as current live-game values.

The Immortal
Hodgkin summons a ghost ship that damages a concentrated area and siphons the souls of enemies on the battlefield. BlueStacks lists 330% area damage, a seven-second siphon, and a 25% reduction to affected enemies’ damage and healing efficiency. The guide says an upgrade adds 3.5 seconds of fear, while another raises the damage to 360%.

Jolly Roger
Hodgkin deals area damage and raises the defense and attack ratings of nearby allied heroes. When the skill’s condition involving a siphoned enemy is met, BlueStacks says the flag is strengthened and nearby allies gain haste. The guide also describes upgrades to damage and buffs.
Reviler’s Defiance
Hodgkin blocks frontal damage and gains control immunity for up to three seconds, or until a damage threshold is reached. He then retaliates against the attacker. BlueStacks says the retaliation scales with time spent blocking and notes upgrades to the block threshold and retaliation cap.

Where to position Hodgkin and who to pair him with
BlueStacks recommends placing Hodgkin on the frontline. Its rationale is that his soul siphoning and reductions to enemy damage and healing can help against opponents with strong recovery, while his defensive skill and allied buffs support the team.
- Ferael: BlueStacks suggests him for enemy energy disruption alongside Hodgkin.
- Silas: The guide names him as a support healer who can complement Hodgkin.
These are general suggestions from BlueStacks, not a roster-specific or current side-by-side team ranking. Evaluate a lineup by its frontline durability, debuffs and control, allied buffs, and fit with the rest of your heroes.

Progression systems to consider
Hodgkin has several in-game progression systems that can affect how he fits into an account. AFK Global lists the Soul Devourers signature item, Pirate’s Curse furniture, and engraving abilities for him. These are game mechanics; the available character reference does not establish a current investment priority or the resources required for each upgrade. Check the live game for current effects and costs before committing resources.
How to interpret BlueStacks’ tier and build advice
BlueStacks presents Hodgkin as an S-tier hero and uses endgame-oriented language. Treat those as the guide’s judgments rather than a confirmed current ranking: its publication or revision date is not available, and the available references do not provide a current comparison against specific alternative tanks. The AFK Global character reference corroborates Hodgkin’s identity and progression systems, but does not establish that the guide’s skill values remain current.
Before investing, confirm skill descriptions and numbers in the game, then judge Hodgkin against the heroes you actually own. Useful comparison points are frontline durability, enemy debuffs and control, ally buffs, team compatibility, and the investment required in his signature item, furniture, and engraving.
