Best value for many small campaigns: QR Penguin Professional lists $6.50 per month for 100 dynamic codes, unlimited scans, scan statistics, Google Analytics, five team members and two workspaces. QR Insights Pro is a stronger fit when you need realtime monitoring, exports and API access at $9.99 per month, while Dynamic QR Pro Starter costs €9 per month for 10 codes and 2,500 scans. Prices and limits below are vendor-published snapshots accessed October 13, 2026; confirm currency, billing period, taxes, cancellation and data retention before paying.
Affordable QR analytics subscriptions at a glance
A marketing QR subscription is worth paying for when it gives you two capabilities a static image cannot: an editable destination and measurable scan activity. The plans below differ dramatically in code count, scan limits, history, exports and team controls, so the lowest sticker price is not automatically the lowest campaign cost.
| Service and plan | Published price basis | Dynamic codes | Scan allowance | Analytics and workflow features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| QR Penguin Professional | $6.50/month; page offers monthly or annual billing and a currency selector | 100 | Unlimited scans (vendor-listed feature) | Scan statistics, Google Analytics, five team members, two workspaces |
| QR Penguin Enterprise | $13/month; verify the selected billing mode and currency at checkout | 1,000 | Unlimited scans (vendor-listed feature) | Scan statistics, Google Analytics, 50 team members, five workspaces |
| QR Insights Pro | $9.99/month | 10 | 10,000 scans/month | 90-day history, realtime monitoring, 1,000 API calls/month, CSV export, custom styling |
| QR Insights Teams | $29.99/month | 100 | Unlimited scans | Unlimited analytics history, 10,000 API calls/month, bulk operations, white-label branding, webhooks and unlimited short links |
| Dynamic QR Pro Starter | €9/month, excluding VAT; annual billing gives two months free | 10 | 2,500 scans/month | Basic totals and trends; PNG, SVG and PDF downloads |
| Dynamic QR Pro Pro | €29/month, excluding VAT; annual billing gives two months free | Unlimited | 100,000 scans/month | All eight QR types, location/device/browser/time analytics, CSV and Excel export, smart rules |
| Uniqode Essential | $9/month equivalent when billed annually | 15 | Not stated | 60-day analytics history, five linkpages, one user seat |
| DynamicQRCodes.co.uk Pro | £22/month; local tax may be added at checkout | 500 | Unlimited scans | QR branding and detailed reporting |
| DynamicQRCodes.co.uk Business | £39/month; local tax may be added at checkout | Not stated | Not stated | Advanced analytics, API, custom domain, bulk creation and locations |
| Dynamic QR Code Labs free tier | Free; vendor says it is available indefinitely | 3 | 500 scans/month | Realtime country, device, operating-system and time data; editable destinations; PNG download |
These are not controlled performance tests or a universal ranking. Prices are in different currencies and some are annual equivalents, while tax treatment and cancellation behavior are not established consistently. Treat the free-tier duration and every “unlimited” statement as a vendor claim until you verify the current terms.

A dynamic QR code encodes a service-controlled redirect rather than your final web address. When someone scans it, the service records an event and forwards the person to the destination. You can then change that destination without replacing printed material. A QRCodeChimp marketing guide states: “Dynamic QR codes are editable, so you can update their information and URL without reprinting them.”

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The same guide says scans can be tracked to measure campaign performance and that agencies can see how often codes were scanned and from which locations and devices. That describes scan events, not identified people: a location, browser or device signal does not prove who scanned or whether a scan led to a purchase. Use your landing page, consented first-party analytics and sales data for conversion measurement.
Metrics you should expect
- Total scans and trends: the minimum useful view for spotting activity over time.
- Time: hourly or daily patterns help relate scans to an event, promotion or media flight.
- Location: country or more granular geography can compare distribution areas, but accuracy depends on network data.
- Device and browser: useful for checking mobile landing-page compatibility and creative testing.
- Exports and integrations: CSV or Excel files support client reporting; API access, webhooks or Google Analytics reduce manual work.
- History: retention determines whether you can compare a campaign months after it ends.
Plan-by-plan buying guide
QR Penguin Professional: the broadest low-cost code allowance
The published $6.50/month Professional plan includes 100 dynamic codes, unlimited scans, scan statistics, Google Analytics, five team members and two workspaces. That combination suits an agency or small business running many flyers, product variants or locations without a tight scan ceiling. The page presents monthly and annual choices and a currency selector, so the displayed amount should not be assumed to be the final local-currency charge.
Enterprise is listed at $13/month with 1,000 codes, unlimited scans, 50 team members and five workspaces. It is a volume option when code count or collaboration, rather than analytics depth, is the constraint. “Unlimited scans” is a listed feature, not an independently tested load guarantee; check fair-use, outage and cancellation language.

- 5-in-1 USB-C Hub: Experience comprehensive connectivity featuring a Power Delivery input, two USB-A 2.0 ports, a USB-A 3.0 port, and an HDMI port. (Note: The USB-C power delivery input port is only for connecting an external wall charger to power your laptop and cannot power peripheral devices.)
- 90W Pass-Through Charging: Achieve optimal charging with 90W pass-through power to your laptop, supported by a total input of 100W, with the hub reserving 10W for operational efficiency. (Note: Wall charger not included.)

Note: This device is not compatible with Linux.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
QR Insights Pro and Teams: strongest reporting and automation path
Pro costs $9.99/month and limits you to 10 dynamic codes and 10,000 scans per month. In exchange, it lists 90 days of history, realtime monitoring, 1,000 API calls per month, CSV export and custom styling. Choose it when a handful of campaigns need operational monitoring or scheduled reporting.
Teams costs $29.99/month and raises the allowance to 100 dynamic codes with unlimited short links and scans, unlimited analytics history, 10,000 API calls per month, bulk operations, white-label branding and webhooks. The vendor advertises GDPR compliance and no tracking cookies; those are vendor representations, not an independent compliance audit. Ask for a data-processing agreement and retention details if your organization requires them.
Dynamic QR Pro: euro-priced tiers with a clear traffic step-up
Starter is €9/month excluding VAT for 10 dynamic codes and 2,500 scans per month. Its analytics are described as basic totals and trends, and downloads are available as PNG, SVG and PDF. Annual billing gives two months free, but the effective annual cost and VAT should be calculated for your country.

- Sleek 7-in-1 USB-C Hub: Features an HDMI port, two USB-A 3.0 ports, and a USB-C data port, each providing 5Gbps transfer speeds. It also includes a USB-C PD input port for charging up to 100W and dual SD and TF card slots, all in a compact design.
- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)

- Fast and Reliable 85W Charging: Offers high-capacity, speedy charging for laptops up to 85W, so you spend less time tethered to an outlet and more time being productive.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
Pro is €29/month excluding VAT for unlimited dynamic codes and 100,000 scans per month. It adds all eight QR types, advanced breakdowns by location, device, browser and time, CSV/Excel export and smart rules. This is a logical upgrade when 10 codes or 2,500 monthly scans would force you to split campaigns or risk a cap.
Uniqode Essential and higher tiers: retention-focused annual pricing
The current help page lists Essential at $9/month when billed annually, with 15 dynamic codes, 60 days of analytics history, five linkpages and one user seat. Higher annual-equivalent tiers are Core at $49/month for 250 codes and 90 days, Plus at $99/month for 500 codes and 180 days, and Business+ at $399/month for 2,000 codes and lifetime history. These are monthly equivalents paid through an annual commitment, not month-to-month prices. The page does not state a scan allowance in the supplied plan details, so confirm it before selecting a tier for a high-traffic campaign.
DynamicQRCodes.co.uk: large code allowance in pound sterling
Pro is listed at £22/month for 500 dynamic codes, unlimited scans, QR branding and detailed reporting. Business is £39/month and adds advanced analytics, API access, a custom domain, bulk QR creation and locations. Local tax may be added at checkout. This option is relevant when the number of destinations is more important than a low entry price; verify history length, user seats and scan behavior because those limits are not stated in the supplied plan information.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
Dynamic QR Code Labs: a cautious free starting point
The vendor says its free tier includes three dynamic codes, 500 scans per month, realtime country/device/operating-system/time data, editable destinations and PNG download, and that it is available indefinitely. That is useful for a pilot, a low-volume community notice or a proof of concept. It is still a vendor claim rather than an independently verified service guarantee. Confirm whether codes remain active, whether analytics can be exported and what happens after a limit is reached.
Choose by campaign size and reporting need
One to three low-traffic codes
Start with the Dynamic QR Code Labs free claim only if 500 scans per month is comfortably above your expected traffic and a three-code ceiling is workable. For a paid option with more headroom, compare the 10-code entry tiers, but include tax and annual-commitment terms in the cost.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Several campaigns with predictable traffic
Estimate scans before buying: expected daily scans × campaign days, then add a buffer for event spikes. A 2,500-scan monthly cap can be adequate for a local promotion but risky for a package distributed nationally. QR Insights Pro’s 10,000 cap provides four times that monthly volume, while Dynamic QR Pro Pro’s 100,000 cap is designed for substantially higher traffic.

- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
Many destinations or agency portfolios
Prioritize code allowance and workspace controls. QR Penguin Professional lists 100 codes, five team members and two workspaces at $6.50/month; its Enterprise listing raises those figures to 1,000, 50 and five. DynamicQRCodes.co.uk Pro lists 500 codes at £22/month. Compare currencies and taxes rather than treating these numbers as a direct price-per-code league table.
Client reporting and automation
Require the exact output your workflow needs. QR Insights offers CSV, API calls and, on Teams, webhooks and bulk operations. Dynamic QR Pro Pro lists CSV/Excel export and smart rules. QR Penguin lists Google Analytics on Professional and Enterprise, which is an integration rather than a substitute for the platform’s own scan statistics. Uniqode’s supplied details emphasize history and code capacity, but do not establish export or API limits for Essential.
Long-running packaging or evergreen campaigns
History retention and post-cancellation behavior matter more than the first month’s price. The supplied plans explicitly state 60, 90, 180 or lifetime history only for the Uniqode tiers and 90 days or unlimited history for QR Insights. Ask every provider how long scan records remain, whether redirects keep working after cancellation and whether an inactive account can be reactivated without losing data.
Billing, limits and ownership checks before checkout
- Identify the price basis. Mark whether the figure is month-to-month, an annual monthly equivalent, or an annual plan with a discount. Dynamic QR Pro’s two-free-month offer applies to annual billing, and Uniqode Essential’s $9 is explicitly an annual equivalent.
- Calculate tax and currency. Dynamic QR Pro excludes VAT; DynamicQRCodes.co.uk says local tax may be added. QR Penguin’s selector means the displayed $ figure may not be the final currency you pay.
- Confirm scan enforcement. Ask whether a cap hard-stops redirects, throttles scans or charges overages. The supplied pages do not establish those behaviors for capped plans.
- Confirm retention and export. Download a sample report and ask whether raw data, dashboards and API access continue after cancellation.
- Test redirect continuity. Before printing thousands of pieces, verify that a canceled, paused or failed subscription does not turn the code into an error page.
- Check seats and permissions. Count people who need to create codes, view reports or manage billing; a cheap plan can become expensive if additional seats are required.
- Review privacy terms. Determine what device, location and time data is collected, the lawful basis for processing and the deletion process. Do not infer individual identity from scan metadata.
Set up a measurable QR campaign
- Define one destination and one objective. Use a campaign-specific landing page, coupon or signup action so scans can be connected to an outcome.
- Create a dynamic code. Select the destination, name the campaign and record the code ID in your campaign calendar. Keep an internal copy of the final URL and owner.
- Add downstream measurement. Use your site analytics with a campaign parameter or a dedicated landing page. If the subscription supports Google Analytics, API, CSV or webhooks, map those outputs to your reporting template.
- Design for scanning. The QRCodeChimp guide recommends a minimum size of 0.8 × 0.8 inches (2 × 2 cm), increasing it for the setting. Keep strong contrast, clear quiet space and a short call to action such as “Scan for the menu.” The size is a recommendation, not a universal standard.
- Test the actual placement. Scan from the expected distance and angle on multiple phones, in the lighting and material used for the final print. Test both the redirect and the landing-page load.
- Monitor early. Watch scans, error rates and device patterns during the first hours of distribution. A sudden zero can indicate a redirect, print or exposure problem rather than a lack of interest.
- Archive and export. Save reports at campaign close, especially on plans with 60- or 90-day history. Record the subscription, code owner and destination so a future team can maintain the redirect.
Common failure modes and fixes
- The code scans but opens the wrong page: edit the dynamic destination, test the redirect in a private browser and replace cached or printed static codes if the code itself contains the wrong URL.
- Scans stop near a campaign peak: compare the period with the plan’s monthly cap. Upgrade or confirm overage behavior before the next distribution; do not assume a capped service will continue forwarding.
- Reports show scans but no sales: scan activity is an upper-funnel event. Check landing-page analytics, form submissions, coupon redemption and attribution windows separately.
- Low scan volume from print: inspect size, contrast, glare, folds, distance and the call to action. Re-test the physical item rather than changing the subscription first.
- History disappears from an old campaign: export before the stated retention period and ask whether a higher tier or an archived report is required.
- Team members overwrite destinations: use separate workspaces, naming conventions and role permissions where available; keep a change log for packaging and permanent signage.
- Privacy review stalls launch: document the fields collected, retention period, processor terms and consent approach. A vendor’s compliance marketing statement does not replace your own legal review.
Bottom-line buying decision
Choose QR Penguin Professional when 100 codes, unlimited vendor-listed scans and Google Analytics are more valuable than advanced reporting, and verify its billing toggle and currency. Choose QR Insights Pro when you need realtime monitoring, CSV/API workflows and can stay within 10,000 scans and 10 codes; move to Teams for 100 codes, unlimited history and automation. Choose Dynamic QR Pro Starter for a low-cost euro plan with basic reporting, or Pro when unlimited codes, 100,000 scans and detailed breakdowns justify the higher fee. Uniqode is notable for clearly stated history tiers but requires confirmation of scan limits. DynamicQRCodes.co.uk is aimed at larger code portfolios in pounds. Use the Dynamic QR Code Labs free tier only as a cautiously verified pilot, not as an assumed permanent production dependency.
