The $160 AAVE figure is a speculative scenario, not a guaranteed price target. The article discussing it gives no target date, probability, or quantitative valuation model. Separately, Remittix says a selected group of 1,000 RTX holders can test its PayFi product; that is an issuer-reported product milestone, not proof of payment performance or evidence of an RTX valuation.
The two developments concern different products and should not be treated as competing signals: Aave is a DeFi lending protocol, while Remittix describes digital-asset-to-fiat payment flows. Neither milestone alone establishes where either token will trade.
What does the $160 AAVE scenario mean?
TechBullion’s October 2, 2026 article presents $160 as a possible AAVE scenario tied to sustained demand for the token and continued protocol activity. It does not specify when AAVE might reach that level, assign a probability, or show a quantitative model supporting the figure. It should therefore be read as a scenario, not an independently substantiated forecast or promise. TechBullion’s article

Continued use and development of Aave may be relevant context for evaluating the protocol, but activity is not the same as a token-price model. A forecast would need to explain how protocol conditions translate into demand for AAVE and specify assumptions and a time horizon; the cited article does not provide those details.

What Aave V4’s September figures do—and do not—show
In a development update posted October 1, 2026, Aave Labs reported that Aave V4 deposits surpassed $1 billion during September and active loans reached $310 million. The update also says V4 expanded to Arc and Base. These are dated protocol-development and activity figures from Aave Labs, not a direct estimate of AAVE’s value. Aave Labs’ September 2026 development update
Deposits and active loans describe assets supplied to and borrowed through the protocol. They may help readers understand V4’s reported activity, but they do not establish token demand, a price target, or a timeline for AAVE. AAVE’s $160 scenario remains unsupported by an explicit valuation method in the TechBullion article.

What can selected Remittix holders test?
Remittix said on October 2, 2026, that 1,000 selected RTX holders were given early access to test PayFi, with initial EUR and USD settlement options. The company describes support for USDT and USDC across selected networks. It characterizes the initial group’s purpose as testing how digital assets move into EUR and USD settlement. These are statements by Remittix in a release distributed through GlobeNewswire, not independent confirmation that settlement succeeded. Remittix release via GlobeNewswire
What the announcement does not establish
The release does not provide independent evidence of payment success rates, fees, settlement times, geographic coverage, test-user outcomes, or regulatory status. It also does not establish an independent valuation case for RTX. A selected-holder test is evidence of an announced access milestone, not proof that the service is broadly available or performs reliably for the public.
How the two developments compare
| Question | Aave V4 / AAVE | Remittix PayFi / RTX |
|---|---|---|
| Product function | DeFi lending, including supplying and borrowing assets. | Remittix describes flows between supported digital assets and fiat settlement through compatible banking routes. |
| Evidence and date | Aave Labs’ development update, posted October 1, 2026, reports V4 activity during September. | Remittix’s company-provided release, distributed by GlobeNewswire on October 2, 2026, announces a selected-holder test. GlobeNewswire says it does not verify or endorse the release’s claims. |
| Reported stage or metric | Deposits surpassed $1 billion and active loans reached $310 million during September 2026, according to Aave Labs. | Remittix says 1,000 selected RTX holders received access; the release describes initial EUR and USD settlement options. |
| What it establishes about token price | Protocol activity figures do not by themselves establish an AAVE price target. | The product announcement is not independent valuation evidence for RTX. |
How to read Remittix’s other reported metrics
The same October 2 release reports more than $50 million in Remittix Markets volume and over 10,000 iOS wallet downloads. It says Android was awaiting approval and that Earn was nearing release, with advertised yields of up to 22% APY on qualifying assets. These are issuer-reported figures and product statements; the release does not independently audit them. The advertised rate is not a guaranteed return, and the source does not promise it will be available. Remittix release via GlobeNewswire

For AAVE, the $160 number has no stated horizon, probability, or disclosed model in the cited article. Aave Labs’ V4 statistics provide operational context but do not fill those gaps. For RTX, the PayFi access announcement and other product metrics are not independent evidence of token value. Treat the two stories as developments to evaluate on their own terms, not as short-term price signals or comparable investments.
