The Cuktech CP Turbo Fan Plus is a handheld fan with a detachable magnetic power-bank handle. It is worth considering if you want cooling airflow and an emergency phone top-up in one carry item, and you can accept noticeable fan noise at higher speeds and a weight of about 310 g. In Notebookcheck’s hands-on review, published September 26, 2026, it ran for about 4 hours 15 minutes on speed three and charged an iPhone 16 Pro roughly twice.
What the device is and who it suits
The CP Turbo Fan Plus works as two products. With the power-bank handle attached, it is a fan you hold. With the fan attachment removed, the handle works as a battery pack you can use to charge a phone. The fan attachment is magnetic and detaches from the handle, so you can carry the two parts separately.
The design suits someone who already carries a phone and wants one extra item for heat days or for a phone that is running low away from a socket. It is less suited to anyone who needs a quiet fan for a bedroom or office, or who wants to power a laptop. Notebookcheck’s reviewer notes that the 33 W maximum output makes it a poor match for high-performance laptop charging.

Battery capacity: why 10,000 mAh overstates what you get out
The 10,000 mAh figure is the total capacity of the cells. It is not the amount of charge that reaches a phone. The usable output is set by the 5,800 mAh rating at 5 V / 2 A, and the 36 Wh stated energy is higher than what the phone test showed. Converting 5,800 mAh at 5 V gives roughly 29 Wh, which is a simple calculation rather than a figure from the review. Losses in the conversion and the cells explain the gap between the stored energy and what is delivered.
In the review’s phone test, about 27 Wh flowed from the power bank at around 5 V. That matches the expected behaviour of a pack of this size: two full charges of a modern phone were possible, but a phone will not be charged from empty to full on every use. Treat the “charges an iPhone 16 Pro twice” result as Notebookcheck’s single test on one phone, not a guarantee for other handsets or charging habits.

Fan speed, noise and runtime
Noise is the main trade-off. Notebookcheck measured sound pressure at 50 cm from the fan. The table below shows the figures the review reports; where it gives no figure, the cell says so.

|---|---|---|
| Lowest speed | Just over 50 dB | Longer than speed three; exact figure not stated |
| Speed two | Not stated | Not stated |
| Speed three | Just over 70 dB | About 4 hours 15 minutes |
| Boost | Over 75 dB | Substantially shorter than speed three; exact figure not stated |
The reviewer describes the noise as potentially disruptive during long use in quiet rooms. In practice, the lowest setting is the only one the review describes as tolerable for sustained use in a quiet environment, and Boost is the setting to use briefly.

The fan cools the skin in front of it. It does not cool a room. The review describes its job as localised airflow, so it helps most when you are sitting still close to it, rather than as a substitute for an air conditioner or a room fan.
Practical notes from the design
- Exposed contacts: When the fan attachment is detached, the connection contacts are exposed. Keep the two parts apart in a bag or pocket with nothing metallic nearby.
- No port cover: The USB-C port has no cover, so debris can get into it when you carry the handle loose.
- Weight: At about 310 g for the complete unit, it is heavier than a simple handheld fan. Weigh that against carrying a separate power bank.
- Cable: You need your own USB-C cable. Choose one rated for the charging speeds you need, since the device tops out at 33 W output.

Verdict for buyers
The CP Turbo Fan Plus makes sense if you want a single carry item that gives you airflow on hot days and a phone top-up when the battery runs low. Choose the lowest fan speed for anything close to quiet use, and expect the fan to run for several hours on speed three before the battery is empty. If you need a quiet fan, a larger power bank for a laptop, or a device that cools a room, look elsewhere.
