Omid Pakseresht says his day is built around a global work rhythm: Asia first, the UK through the middle of the day, and the US in the evening. In BusinessCloud’s day-in-the-life profile, the SEPANTA founder describes a quiet start, client and leadership work, a protected dinner break, and a late stretch of focused work. These are his account of his own routine, not independently observed habits or a formula for everyone.
What does Omid Pakseresht’s day look like?
Pakseresht, founder and CEO of SEPANTA, says he usually wakes naturally between 7 and 7:30 a.m. He avoids snoozing and keeps WhatsApp off for the first 10 or 15 minutes, using that quiet interval to decide what matters before incoming messages begin shaping the day. As he puts it in the BusinessCloud profile, “The first few minutes of the day aren’t for work.” He adds, “I need to load before the day loads onto me.”
After coffee, some mornings begin with calls involving Asia, where his team and its clients are already active. He says he works at home for a couple of hours before heading to the office. The arrangement lets him start with the region that is furthest into its working day rather than treating his local morning as the beginning of everyone’s day.

Pakseresht describes his workday as moving from Asia to the UK, then to the US in the evening. He says the challenge is maintaining his own rhythm while responding to the pace of each region. “You set the tempo; you don’t let the traffic outside the window set it for you,” he says in the BusinessCloud profile.

In practice, that means regional work is layered across his day rather than confined to a conventional local office schedule. His separate Mac desktop spaces for regions and major projects are one organizational habit he says helps keep that work distinct. He has not identified a Mac model or recommended a particular computer; the setup is simply part of his personal routine.
What fills his core working hours?
Pakseresht says a typical day includes staying close to one or two client accounts, planning or delivering work, conversations with investors as he prepares for a raise, and helping someone on the leadership team. He says his own role has changed as SEPANTA has grown more complex: less hands-on execution, more leading, influencing, and selling the plan.
He also says customer wins create a buzz across the team. The profile does not establish a specific recent win, so there is no client launch or deal to cite as an example. His comments frame the reward as the team’s response to progress rather than as a particular milestone.
Why does dinner matter in his schedule?
Lunch, by Pakseresht’s description, can amount to a late breakfast or a pastry. Dinner is different: he gives it a couple of hours and treats it as the day’s hard boundary before returning to work later. That break stands out in a schedule that otherwise spans multiple regions and working hours.
What happens in the late-night work block?
Pakseresht says he returns around 9:30 or 10 p.m. for three or four hours of focused work, without calls or interruptions. He calls the contrast between a meeting-heavy day and that quiet stretch an irony: “The irony isn’t lost on me that the most productive part of my day has no meetings in it at all.” He says he stops when the work is done, describing that stopping point as “its own kind of discipline.”
He names Claude and Spotify among the tools he uses regularly. He has also recently listened to Sina Bathaei’s Persian traditional music blended with electronic music. Those details describe his personal setup and listening; they are not endorsements or recommendations.

What is SEPANTA, and how does it fit the profile?
SEPANTA is the company context for Pakseresht’s schedule. In a launch post, he said GOODFOLIO became SEPANTA, with the same team, company, and values but a larger mission. He describes SEPANTA as building an AI operating system for large, complex multinational businesses, with software shaped around how a business operates and people retained in decision-making.
