The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G’s clearest advantage is its documented software-support commitment: six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Neither phone can be declared the camera winner from specifications alone, and the available prices are retailer snapshots—not a verified, like-for-like current quote.

Which phone has the better display and processor specifications?

On the listed numbers, the P4 Pro offers a larger, higher-resolution panel with a faster maximum refresh rate: 6.8 inches, 1280 × 2800, and up to 144Hz versus the M47’s third-party-listed 6.66 inches, 1080 × 2340, and 120Hz. realme also publishes 6500-nit peak and 1800-nit HBM brightness figures; 91mobiles lists 1200 nits for the M47. Those brightness claims should not be treated as directly measured under a common test.

Processor
realme identifies the P4 Pro’s chipset as Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 attribution for the M47 comes from 91mobiles, rather than the Samsung product page reviewed here. These are chipset specifications, not a head-to-head benchmark: no independent performance test is established by these sources. For demanding games or multitasking, treat the processor tier as a useful starting point, not proof of a particular frame rate or real-world speed advantage.
How do the battery, charging, size, and weight compare?
The P4 Pro has the higher published battery capacity—7000mAh typical, with a stated 6830mAh minimum—against Samsung’s 6000mAh typical for the M47. realme specifies 80W charging and says an 80W adapter comes in the box; the M47’s 45W charging figure comes from 91mobiles, while Samsung’s official page confirms its battery capacity. Capacity and charging wattage alone do not establish actual battery life or charging time, which can vary with usage and conditions.
Both phones have similar listed heights, but the P4 Pro is narrower and thinner in the published dimensions. Its approximately 189g listed weight is also below the M47’s 206g. These are manufacturer-published measurements and may use different tolerances or methods.

Do the camera specifications make one phone the better choice?
Not by themselves. realme lists a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP front camera, alongside 4K recording at 60fps. 91mobiles lists the M47 with a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro camera, and a 12MP front camera. Sensor resolution and camera counts do not show how well either phone handles focus, movement, low light, color, stabilization, or video; the available evidence does not establish a camera-quality winner.
Which phone has the longer documented software support?
Samsung’s official India product page provides the clearer long-term commitment for the M47: six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from its first global launch. The page lists 31 July 2032 as the security-support end date and notes that Samsung’s policy may change. Samsung gives the phone’s launch date as 29 June 2026.
For the P4 Pro, realme lists realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. The reviewed realme specifications page does not specify how many years of OS or security updates it will receive; 91mobiles reports three OS years and four security years. Since that duration is not confirmed on the reviewed manufacturer page, treat it as third-party information rather than an official realme commitment.

What is the price difference—and is it a fair comparison?
