Large, high-refresh-rate screen for entertainment
The 11.5-inch 2K panel offers more room for video and browsing than a typical phone-sized display, and its refresh rate reaches 120Hz. 91mobiles lists a maximum brightness of 450 nits. Gadgets 360 found the display useful for everyday viewing, although its contrast fell when viewed at an angle. 91mobiles’ review and Gadgets 360’s review detail those observations.
Capable of routine multitasking
The Helio G99 is suited to lighter workloads rather than high-end performance. 91mobiles found the tablet adequate for browsing, email, social media, entertainment, and light Google Docs use. Gadgets 360 reports that its reviewer could use split-screen with a floating window to keep three apps visible, and used multiple browser tabs alongside YouTube.

Large battery and fast wired charging
The stated battery capacity is 8,360mAh, with support for 33W charging. Reviewers’ battery results differ because they used different methods: Gadgets 360 recorded 26 hours and 13 minutes in its standard battery-loop video test, while 91mobiles observed three to four days with light-to-moderate use during its review period. Neither figure guarantees how long a particular user’s charge will last.
Quad speakers and LTE option
Gadgets 360 describes the quad-speaker system as loud and immersive, with Dolby Atmos support. LTE is a useful configuration option if you want mobile data away from Wi-Fi, though confirm that the exact model and cellular bands suit your country and carrier.

What are the Realme Pad 2’s cons?
Reflections and limited outdoor visibility
The screen can be difficult to see in direct sunlight. 91mobiles notes its reflective surface and 450-nit maximum brightness; Gadgets 360 also found occasional choppiness in high-refresh-rate behavior. The 120Hz specification therefore does not mean every interaction will always look perfectly smooth.
Not built for demanding games
Reviewers found the Helio G99 adequate for everyday work but not a performance powerhouse. Graphically demanding games are more likely to expose its limits, so consider a more powerful tablet if gaming is a priority.

Heavy for extended handheld use
MySmartPrice lists a weight of 518g and a 7.2mm body combining metal and polycarbonate elements. Its reviewer found the tablet tiring to hold for long periods. It is better suited to a desk, stand, or lap for extended viewing than to prolonged one-handed use.
Basic cameras and no headphone jack
Gadgets 360 lists a 5MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. It found the rear camera below average for detail, while the front camera was more suitable for video calls. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack, so wired headphone users will need an appropriate adapter or another audio option.

Before buying now, check the live price, seller, warranty, cellular compatibility, and whether the software version meets your needs. The launch-era reviews do not establish current stock, current pricing, or a guaranteed update schedule. Gadgets 360 also noted that officially supported accessories were unavailable at the time of its review; verify that any case or screen protector listing explicitly fits the Pad 2.
How does it compare with alternatives?
Gadgets 360 compared the Pad 2 with the Redmi Pad and Oppo Pad Air, saying those alternatives could be priced lower at the time but had smaller displays and batteries and lacked cellular connectivity. That is launch-era comparison context, not a current market ranking. For a present-day choice, compare the actual models available to you on LTE support, screen size and refresh rate, battery capacity, gaming performance, current price, and accessory compatibility.
Verdict: should you buy the Realme Pad 2?
Choose the Realme Pad 2 if a large 120Hz display, loud speakers, long-lasting battery capacity, and the option of LTE matter more than gaming power or outdoor readability. It makes the most sense as an entertainment and light-productivity tablet used on a stand or at a table. Skip it if you need a screen that remains easy to view in strong sunlight, a light tablet for long handheld sessions, strong cameras, or a headphone jack. Since the cited prices are from 2023, base a purchase today on the verified current price and availability in your region.
