It supports work such as photo editing, graphic design, video production, page layout, UX design, illustration, and social content. Which apps and features you get depends on your plan and, in some cases, your region.
What Adobe Creative Cloud includes
Adobe describes Creative Cloud as a collection of apps, web services, and resources for creative projects. Its tools serve distinct tasks rather than one single workflow: Photoshop is used for image work, Illustrator for vector graphics, Premiere Pro for video editing, InDesign for page layout, Audition for audio, and After Effects for motion graphics. Adobe lists these among the apps in its Creative Cloud Pro plan.
The exact collection available to you depends on the subscription. Adobe says Creative Cloud Pro includes more than 20 creative apps, while also offering plans for individual apps and photography. The current plan page is the place to check included apps, storage, services, and generative AI allowances for your location.
How Creative Cloud plans differ
| Plan type | Best suited to | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Individual app | Someone who needs one specific Adobe application. | Whether the plan includes the desktop, web, and mobile features you need. |
| Photography | Photo workflows centered on Photoshop and Lightroom. | The current app bundle, storage, and region-specific terms. |
| Creative Cloud Pro | People who work across multiple creative disciplines and want a broader app collection. | Adobe currently describes this plan as including more than 20 apps; confirm its current features and terms locally. |
| Student or teacher | Eligible students and educators. | Eligibility rules, offer duration, and renewal price. |
| Teams | Organizations that need business-oriented licensing and administration. | Per-license pricing and included business features. |
Adobe renamed Creative Cloud All Apps to Creative Cloud Pro on July 1, 2025. Adobe’s announcement also described a Standard option with desktop apps and more limited generative AI and web/mobile access. Plan names and feature availability can vary by market and customer type, so older descriptions may no longer match the offer shown on your local Adobe page.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
For individual plans in North America, Adobe’s help documentation says Standard provides full access to Acrobat, Express, Fresco, and Podcast, plus basic features in other Adobe web and mobile apps; Pro provides full access to Adobe web and mobile apps. Those distinctions are specific to North American individual plans and should not be assumed to apply elsewhere. See Adobe’s plan FAQ and confirm the terms for your country.
What to compare before subscribing
- Apps: List the applications your work actually requires and check whether an individual-app plan or a multi-app subscription covers them.
- Workflow: The Photography plan is presented for Photoshop and Lightroom; the broader Pro plan covers a wider mix of photo, design, and video tools.
- Web and mobile access: Compare the features available outside desktop apps, especially if you work on a phone or browser.
- Storage and services: Check the included cloud storage and other services for the specific plan and account type.
- Generative AI: Review the current AI features and credit limits. These allowances and their names can change.
- Full-term cost: Compare the billing commitment, any introductory promotion, the price after the promotion, and local taxes—not just the advertised starting monthly amount.
Adobe’s US plan listing shows localized prices and, for some offers, introductory and regular pricing. Those figures are not a reliable guide to prices in other countries; check Adobe’s current local page for applicable terms.

Is Adobe Creative Cloud free?
Adobe offers paid subscriptions as well as free membership options, but free membership is not the same as access to a paid app bundle. Adobe says that after cancellation or downgrade, an account switches to free membership with 5 GB of storage. Files stored locally remain accessible; if your cloud usage exceeds that allowance, you cannot upload new files until you reduce it. Details are in Adobe’s Creative Cloud FAQ, last updated September 2, 2025.
Using Creative Cloud on more than one computer
Adobe’s FAQ says a desktop app can be installed on multiple computers under one account, but used on only one device at a time. The same FAQ says paid members can install previous versions of Creative Cloud apps. Check Adobe’s current account and app guidance for the applicable terms.

A book for learning the basics
If you prefer a structured workbook, Adobe Press’s Classroom in a Book series offers self-paced software lessons and project files. Pearson lists Adobe Creative Cloud Classroom in a Book: Design Software Foundations with Adobe Creative Cloud as a first edition published in 2023. It can provide a foundation, but it predates later plan changes and should not be treated as current documentation for every app or subscription. Check the publisher for current availability and edition details.
