Google Find Hub can help you find more than an Android phone: compatible tracker tags, wallet cards, earbuds, headphones and some smart luggage can also appear in it. Support is tied to the exact product model, not simply its category, so check Google’s current compatibility list and local availability before buying.
What you can track with Google Find Hub
Find Hub uses the Android device network to help locate compatible belongings. A nearby item may be easier to locate directly; for an item farther away, another participating device needs to be online to provide an updated location. Google says Android phones running Android 9 or later participate in the network, though requirements can vary by feature. Google’s Find Hub overview explains the service.
1. Tracker tags attached to keys or bags
A tracker tag is a small device you attach to something you might misplace, such as keys, a bag or luggage. Google’s announced Pixel Tag is designed for items including keys, wallets and luggage. Google’s compatibility catalog also lists select tags from brands including Chipolo, Motorola, Pebblebee and UGREEN. These are examples, not a guarantee that every tag from those brands works with Find Hub.
Google specifies an IP67 water- and dust-resistance rating and up to one year of battery life for Pixel Tag. Those are Pixel Tag product claims and should not be assumed for other tracker tags. Google’s Pixel Tag announcement provides those specifications.

2. Card-shaped trackers for wallets
A wallet tracker uses a flat, card-like form instead of a keyring tag. Google’s compatible-device catalog names models such as Chipolo CARD Point and Pebblebee Card. Verify that the exact model is currently listed and sold in your market; a card-shaped tracker is not automatically compatible just because it uses Bluetooth.
3. Wireless earbuds
Some earbuds can be located as devices in Find Hub rather than by attaching a separate tracker. Google lists specific models, including Pixel Buds and Sony earbuds. Compatibility is model-specific: do not assume that all wireless earbuds, or all products from a supported manufacturer, can be found in Find Hub.

4. Over-ear headphones
Google’s catalog includes selected over-ear headphone models from Sony and JBL, among others. This can help when headphones are left behind, but the exact model must be supported. Confirm it on the Google-compatible device list, which also notes that availability, features and specifications can vary by region.
5. Smart luggage with tracking built in
Some luggage has a compatible tracking system built in, so there is no separate tag to attach. Google’s list includes July CaseSafe Carry On Luggage under embedded tracking. Google has also documented sharing a compatible item’s location with participating airlines to help with luggage recovery. That does not mean every airline participates, or that every smart suitcase works with Find Hub; check current airline coverage and the luggage’s exact model before relying on the feature. How to check whether a particular item works
- Find the exact model name. A brand or broad product category is not enough to establish support.
- Check Google’s compatible-device catalog. Look for that model and its category, such as tracker tag, earbuds, headphones or embedded tracking.
- Confirm regional availability. Google warns that products, features and specifications vary by region; check that the listed model is available where you live.
- Check the requirements for the feature you need. Android 9 and later is specified for Find Hub network participation, while individual app and sharing instructions may have their own requirements.
Sharing a tracked item and using it for travel
Google lets an owner share an accessory or tracker tag with up to 10 loved ones. For an item that is not nearby, the owner can also share an item-location link, including with an airline when appropriate. Google says the link expires automatically after seven days, and the owner can stop sharing sooner. See Google’s sharing instructions for the steps and applicable feature requirements.

Find Hub is for locating your own belongings, not monitoring people or property that does not belong to you. Google’s acceptable use policy says: “You may not use Google Find Hub to track people or track property that does not belong to you.” It also prohibits placing a tag to obtain information about another person without that person’s knowledge and consent.
