To play PUBG Mobile on BlueStacks, install BlueStacks, sign in to Google Play, install PUBG Mobile from its listing, then launch it and check the on-screen keyboard-control overlay. You can edit the mappings and adjust BlueStacks performance settings, but results and available graphics options vary by computer, operating system, BlueStacks version, and game update.
Check BlueStacks’ listed requirements first
BlueStacks lists different free-storage minimums on its two PUBG Mobile pages, so use the figure attached to the page relevant to your installation rather than treating either as a universal PUBG Mobile requirement. Neither set of figures guarantees smooth performance.

These are BlueStacks’ page-specific figures, not a guarantee that PUBG Mobile is available in every region or that it will run well on every system meeting them. Check BlueStacks’ current requirements and the game’s local availability before installing.
Install PUBG Mobile in BlueStacks
- Download and install BlueStacks. Get the installer from the official BlueStacks site, then follow its installation prompts.
- Open BlueStacks and access Google Play. Sign in with a Google account if prompted. BlueStacks’ PUBG Mobile guide also describes finding the game through the BlueStacks search bar or Store.
- Find the game listing. Search for PUBG Mobile, choose the relevant listing, and select the install option. Confirm that the listing is available for your region.
- Launch the game. When installation finishes, open PUBG Mobile from the BlueStacks home screen and complete any in-game setup or update prompts.
Check and customize keyboard and mouse controls
BlueStacks supplies mapped controls for playing with a keyboard and mouse. With PUBG Mobile open, select the keyboard or Game controls icon on the BlueStacks side panel to see the current layout. Check the in-game overlay before relying on any key list: mappings can change, and not every control is represented as readable text in BlueStacks’ guide.

The BlueStacks guide lists examples including directional movement, Shift to sprint, 3 to jump, C to crouch, Z to go prone, R to reload, M for the map, Tab for the backpack, and F to interact or pick up. Treat these as examples, not a guaranteed current layout for your installation.
Edit a key mapping
- Open Game controls and enter the controls editor or Advanced Editor.
- Select the control you want to change, then press the key you want to assign.
- Save the changes. BlueStacks also supports custom control profiles and switching between schemes; its instructions are in the BlueStacks control-editing guide.
Adjust settings if performance or mouse input needs work
BlueStacks’ suggested performance settings
For PUBG Mobile, BlueStacks recommends allocating four CPU cores and 4 GB or more of memory, selecting High Performance mode, and enabling High frame rate mode. Its guide also suggests trying HD graphics, Extreme frame rate (described there as up to 60 FPS), Classic or Realistic style, and turning Auto-adjust graphics off. These are vendor recommendations, not promised results. The settings the game exposes can depend on your hardware, operating system, BlueStacks version, and current game version.

Mouse capture or sensitivity
If mouse aiming or capture feels wrong, BlueStacks’ PUBG guide suggests pressing F1 to toggle shooting mode and adjusting sensitivity in the game settings. The best sensitivity is personal; make small changes and check them in a practice session.
Stutter or uneven performance
BlueStacks suggests High Performance mode and allocating more CPU cores and RAM when the game stutters. Change settings incrementally and retest; the guide does not establish that any one setting will resolve every system’s performance issue.

Fix controls that stop working after an update
BlueStacks Support warns that game updates can temporarily disrupt mapped controls: “Key controls for a game may not work as expected on BlueStacks 5 for a short period of time after a game releases an update.” Its documented fallback is to switch from Smart Controls to the Standard or Default scheme, then return to Smart Controls after BlueStacks updates the mappings. See the BlueStacks troubleshooting instructions for the current control names and steps.
- Open the Game controls menu in BlueStacks.
- Choose the Standard or Default scheme if Smart Controls are not responding.
- After BlueStacks updates the game mappings, try Smart Controls again.
If installation is blocked or PUBG Mobile is unavailable
BlueStacks’ guide mentions APK installation or a VPN in connection with installation errors and regional restrictions, and notes that some restricted countries have a region-specific version such as BGMI. These are not universal fixes or permission to bypass local restrictions. Check the game’s official regional availability and applicable rules before proceeding; BlueStacks itself warns that VPN use can carry account risks.

Can you use BlueStacks in official PUBG MOBILE competitions?
Do not assume that being able to launch the game in BlueStacks makes it eligible for tournament play. The PUBG MOBILE Official Competition Rules, version 1.7.0, say participants may play only on handheld Android or iOS phones, prohibit peripherals without tournament-official approval, and state that players may not use an emulator on a PC or other non-handheld device. Those provisions apply to events governed by that rulebook; they do not establish a blanket policy for casual play, every region, or every current game version. Check the rules for the specific competition you intend to enter.
