Control Resonant artifacts are passive modifiers you equip to tune a build, and they can change combat, survivability, exploration, or resource use. Below is the current artifact list reported by a third-party guide, with its stated effects and sources; entries marked unknown or TBA are left unresolved rather than guessed.
How artifacts work
Lead gameplay designer Sergey Mohov describes artifacts as “equippable items with passive modifiers that allow you to fine-tune your build.” Their effects can be situational: some reward a particular action or status, while others exchange a strong benefit for a drawback. Remedy says you can equip up to three artifacts during a first playthrough; New Game Plus adds a fourth slot, and equipped artifacts carry into the next run. Remedy’s New Game Plus overview explains the system.
The AllThingsHow guide describes most discoveries as Untapped Artifacts: recipes consumed when crafted into usable artifacts. Gather the listed materials and Source, then use the Artifact Formation station in the Gap. The guide reports acquisition through missions, vendors, zone progression, Resonant bosses, and edition bonuses. PlayStation’s feature overview also says artifacts can be crafted in the Gap. According to the guide, artifacts from the same family cannot be equipped together, and unwanted artifacts can be recycled at the station for materials.
All artifacts, effects, and reported sources
This table reflects the AllThingsHow guide updated September 25, 2026. Its effect descriptions and acquisition sources are guide-reported, not independently verified here. “Unknown” and “TBA” are the guide’s unresolved entries; the list is not confirmation that every artifact or location in the game has been identified.

Compare an artifact’s trigger and drawback as closely as its headline bonus. An effect tied to low Health, a perfect dodge, Shift, or a nearby summoned ally will only help when that condition occurs. Damage type matters too: a boost to Sharp or Blunt damage is narrower than a general damage modifier, while Falter bonuses serve a different purpose from raw damage. Finally, check whether an artifact’s family is already represented in your equipped set.

- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
- For a risk-tolerant combat setup: low-Health bonuses such as Mother’s Locket or Medical Alert Bands may fit if you can reliably operate near their thresholds. That is a build-based inference from their listed effects, not a tested performance ranking.
- For exploration: hazard resistance from Badge 11-60 or reduced void fall damage from Catnip Toy may be more useful than conditional combat bonuses.
- For recovery: consider whether you can meet an artifact’s trigger—such as perfect dodges, Shield breaks, or a summoned ally—often enough to benefit from it.
- For trade-offs: weigh the downside before equipping Ornate Buckle or Bout Guard, which increase damage taken, or Whetstone and Golden Earrings, which reduce damage or Falter as listed.
There is no universal best artifact in the available list: the right choice depends on your build, the encounter, and which conditions you can trigger consistently.
