Who is the book for?
The publisher identifies programmers with basic algebra skills as the intended audience and says formal coursework in linear algebra or calculus is not required. When it may not match your goal
This is not presented as an exhaustive treatment of calculus, linear algebra, or all the mathematics needed for machine learning. How many exercises and mini-projects does it include?
Manning’s descriptions disagree: one says the book includes more than 200 exercises and mini-projects, while another says more than 300. Because the publisher’s pages do not give a consistent total, there is no reliable single figure to quote.
