Which Galaxy S23 is smaller?

Both are 7.6mm thick in that specification. The S23’s 6.1-inch screen is also easier to manage one-handed than the S23+’s 6.6-inch display.

Battery capacity and charging differences
Samsung lists typical battery capacities of 3,900mAh for the S23 and 4,700mAh for the S23+. The larger capacity gives the S23+ more battery capacity on paper, but it does not establish how long either phone will last in your routine. Samsung says actual battery life varies with network environment, usage and other factors.
Samsung Japan describes 25W wired charging for the S23 and 45W for the S23+. In its stated lab conditions, using a 25W adapter, the S23 reached about 50% in 30 minutes; using a 45W adapter, the S23+ reached about 65% in 30 minutes. These are manufacturer lab figures, not guaranteed everyday results. Samsung’s Japan article says the adapter and cable are sold separately, and actual charging speed can vary. Samsung notes that storage availability can vary by region and carrier. Samsung US comparison

Samsung Mobile Press identifies the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy for both models. The specifications cited here therefore do not show a camera-system or processor-platform advantage for either phone; the clearer differences are size, storage tiers, battery capacity and charging tier. Is the S23+ worth the extra $200?
The $200 figure describes the US launch-price gap in 2023, not the premium you should expect to pay today. Whether the S23+ is worth more depends on how much you value its larger display, higher stated battery capacity, 45W charging tier and 256GB base storage. If you prefer a compact phone or can get the storage you need in the S23, the S23 may be the better fit. For a current purchase, judge the actual price difference between comparable listings rather than relying on launch pricing.
