What Behaviour Interactive’s listings confirm
Two Behaviour Interactive recruiting descriptions explicitly identify the project as an AAA sci-fi FPS in Unreal Engine and use the phrase “high realism bar.” The Senior 3D Character Artist listing calls it an “AAA, sci-fi, FPS project in Unreal Engine with a high realism bar.” The Senior Technical Animator listing describes an “AAA sci-fi FPS in Unreal Engine with a high realism bar.” These are statements in job postings, not a formal game announcement or comments from a named executive.
The postings provide a limited but useful view of the production work being recruited. A related Senior VFX Artist listing describes effects work for characters, weapons, vehicles, and environments. Because those details describe the scope of a role, they should not be treated as proof that each listed item will appear as a finished-game feature.
What the character-art role says about the visual target
The Senior 3D Character Artist role focuses on realistic science-fiction characters that combine organic and hard-surface elements. The posting describes work from concept through final in-engine assets, including clean topology for complex joints and moving parts, hair grooming in Unreal Engine 5, and collaboration with animation and technical-animation teams to help characters move realistically. The posting’s qualifications are requirements and preferences for the position, not a definitive inventory of tools used across the entire project. It asks for at least six years of game character-art experience, a portfolio of realistic characters, Unreal Engine 5 hair setup, and proficiency with Blender or Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and hard-surface modeling. The work includes building and optimizing tools and engine pipelines and solving problems in realistic real-time animation. Its qualifications name Maya and Unreal Engine, as well as concepts including Motion Matching, State Machines, Blend Spaces, Behavior Trees, and State Trees.
