The Redmi Turbo 5 is the stronger specification-led pick for chipset, battery capacity, wired charging and starting storage; the Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G offers a larger, faster-refresh display, wireless charging and a lower observed India price. The best choice depends on which trade-off matters most—and on the live price of the exact RAM and storage variant.

Manufacturer figures are specifications, not equivalent independent tests. Xiaomi says its measurements are laboratory data and results may vary by measurement method and production differences. Brightness claims may use different test conditions, and price listings can change.
Which phone is faster?
Xiaomi lists the Redmi Turbo 5 with a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset, while Infinix lists a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. On paper, the Redmi has the stronger chipset specification. That does not prove it will be faster in every game or maintain peak performance better under sustained workloads; those conclusions require comparable independent testing.

91mobiles lists AnTuTu scores of 2,135,669 for the Redmi and 1,064,913 for the Infinix. These are third-party comparison-page figures, not tests conducted for this article, and the page does not establish enough methodology here to treat them as a guaranteed result for every unit or usage pattern. Use them as a reference point, not a substitute for real-world testing.

Which display is better for your use?
The Infinix has the larger screen at 6.78 inches and supports selectable refresh rates up to 144Hz, compared with the Redmi’s 6.59-inch panel and maximum 120Hz. That makes the Infinix the more compelling option if screen size and a higher refresh-rate ceiling are priorities.
Xiaomi lists the Redmi’s resolution as 2756 × 1268 and peak brightness as 3500 nits at 25% APL. Infinix lists 1208 × 2644 resolution and 4500 nits peak brightness. These are vendor claims with potentially different test conditions, so the peak figures do not establish which screen will look brighter in the same setting.

Battery, wired charging and wireless charging
Xiaomi specifies a 7540mAh typical silicon-carbon battery and up to 100W wired charging for the Redmi. Infinix lists a 6500mAh battery, up to 90W wired charging, 30W wireless charging and 5W wireless reverse charging. The Redmi has greater stated capacity and a higher maximum wired charging rate; the Infinix is the one with wireless charging.
Capacity alone cannot establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use. 91mobiles lists PCMark battery figures of 16h 05m for the Redmi and 13h 15m for the Infinix, but these are database figures on its comparison page; without comparable test conditions and methodology, they should not be read as a promise of your screen-on time.

Camera specifications: similar rear setup, different selfie resolution
Both manufacturers list a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide. Xiaomi identifies the Redmi’s main sensor as a Sony IMX882. The Redmi’s listed front camera is 20MP, compared with 13MP on the Infinix. Resolution and sensor labels alone cannot determine photo quality, skin tones, low-light performance or video results; compare independent camera samples if photography is a deciding factor.
Storage and software
The Redmi is listed in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations with UFS 4.1 storage. Infinix lists 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations with UFS 2.2. Redmi therefore starts at 256GB and specifies the newer, faster storage standard on paper. Confirm that your preferred configuration is actually available from the seller; variant availability and usable capacity can differ.

The manufacturer page lists HyperOS 3 with Android 16 for the Redmi, while the comparison listing identifies Android 16 with XOS branding for the Infinix. The available sources do not establish comparable update durations for these exact models, so there is not enough evidence here to name a software-support winner.
India price difference: check the exact offer before buying
In the access-time snapshot on 91mobiles dated October 4, 2026, the Redmi Turbo 5 was listed at ₹41,999 and the Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G at ₹33,790—a difference of ₹8,209, with the Infinix lower. Infinix’s India product page separately showed a ₹35,999 sale price against a ₹49,999 regular price. These are India-specific, time-sensitive listings, and the different Infinix figures show why a comparison page should not be treated as a guaranteed checkout price.

Before choosing on price, compare the same RAM/storage configuration, seller, warranty and any bank or exchange discounts, then check the final checkout total. Xiaomi says package contents may vary by region and packaging version; its listed reference contents include a power adapter, case and pre-applied screen protector.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the Redmi Turbo 5 if
- You prioritize its listed Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset.
- You want the higher stated battery capacity and 100W maximum wired charging.
- You prefer 256GB as the listed starting storage capacity, UFS 4.1, or a 12GB RAM option.
- You want the higher stated front-camera resolution.
Consider the Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G if
- You want the larger 6.78-inch display and refresh rates selectable up to 144Hz.
- Wireless charging matters to you.
- The current price for the exact configuration is lower and fits your budget.
These recommendations are based on listed specifications and the dated India price snapshot, not hands-on testing. For camera quality, sustained gaming performance or real-world battery life, seek comparable independent tests before treating either model as the winner.
