Select a time range, check Autofill form data (includes forms and cards), then choose Clear now. Leave other categories unchecked if you only want to clear autofill. Before proceeding, check whether sync is on: clearing synced data may affect your other Edge devices.
Clear saved autofill information in Edge
This is the broad-removal option for saved form entries such as email addresses, shipping addresses, and card details. Microsoft documents this route for Edge on Windows 10 and Windows 11; exact labels may vary by version or platform. Microsoft’s clear browsing data instructions describe the autofill category and its contents.
- In Edge, select Settings and more (the three-dot menu), then Settings.
- Open Privacy, search, and services.
- Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.
- Choose the desired Time range.
- Check Autofill form data (includes forms and cards). Inspect the other checkboxes and leave unrelated categories unchecked; selected categories may include browsing history, cookies, or passwords.
- Select Clear now.
Remove one item or stop Edge saving new details
Use profile settings when you want to manage personal information or payment details separately rather than clearing the autofill category broadly. On desktop, Microsoft’s account guidance places these controls under Settings > Profiles.
- Personal information: Open Personal info to manage basic and custom information. Turn off Save and fill basic info or Save and fill custom info to stop Edge saving and suggesting those types of information.
- Payment details: Open Payment info to manage saved cards or turn off Save and fill payment info.
- Passwords: Password saving and autofill have separate controls under Profiles > Passwords; clearing autofill form data is not the same as deleting saved passwords.
Microsoft’s newer help groups these options under Passwords and autofill. If the older Profiles labels are not present, open edge://settings/profiles or search Settings for “autofill,” “personal info,” or “payment info.” The controls available can differ by platform and Edge version. Check whether deletion will affect other devices
If Edge sync is enabled, clearing synced categories can remove that data from other devices signed in to the same account. Microsoft documents turning sync off as the way to clear data only on the current device. Account-cloud data has a separate management path: use the Microsoft privacy dashboard for cloud-held data, and note that deleting data there does not delete the copy stored on your device. Payment information saved in Edge syncs only between devices signed in with the same Microsoft account. What InPrivate does—and does not do
InPrivate clears session data when all InPrivate windows are closed, but it does not delete saved form-fill details from the regular profile. An InPrivate window can use passwords and form-fill data already saved in the profile that opened it, and extensions may still save browsing history. Use the regular profile’s settings to remove existing entries or disable autofill. Microsoft explains the session cleanup in its InPrivate guidance.

If you are looking for Edge Wallet
Edge Wallet is retired. Saved passwords, payment details, and personal information remain manageable in Passwords and autofill settings. Microsoft says data previously held in Wallet’s Memberships section is no longer accessible. See Microsoft’s Wallet retirement notice.
