The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is the thinner, lighter phone, with a sharper QHD+ display and a 200MP main camera. OnePlus Nord 6 puts its emphasis elsewhere: a 165Hz display, a much larger 9,000mAh battery and 80W charging. Which makes more sense depends on whether you prioritize a slim premium design or battery capacity and fast charging—and on current prices for matching configurations in your country.

Design: Samsung is slimmer, but the Nord comparison is incomplete
Galaxy S25 Edge
Samsung lists the S25 Edge at 5.8mm thick and 163g, making its slim and light build a clear documented advantage. Its measurements are 75.6 × 158.2mm. Samsung’s announcement describes the phone as a slim-design model, but the dimensions and weight are the more useful evidence for judging its physical footprint.

OnePlus Nord 6
OnePlus’s product page emphasizes durability and protection, but the reviewed official-page information does not provide a comparable thickness and weight figure. That means the available evidence cannot establish how much thinner or lighter the S25 Edge is than the Nord 6—or even support a complete size comparison. Check both phones’ current regional specification pages before deciding based on dimensions.

Display: sharper resolution or higher refresh rate?
The S25 Edge has a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz, according to Samsung. That combination favors high resolution and lets the screen refresh less often when the content does not call for a faster rate.
OnePlus advertises a 165Hz AMOLED display on the Nord 6. The 91mobiles comparison lists it at 6.78 inches with a 1272 × 2772 resolution; those size and resolution figures come from that third-party listing, rather than the OnePlus page cited here. A 165Hz maximum gives the Nord a higher stated refresh rate, but that number alone does not show how often apps or games can use it or how the two screens compare in brightness, color, or outdoor visibility.
Performance: different Snapdragon chips, no head-to-head result
Samsung specifies a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy in the S25 Edge, while OnePlus lists a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 for the Nord 6. Those model names identify different processors, but the reviewed sources do not establish a directly comparable performance result. Your workload, software, cooling and the specific game or app matter; there is no basis here to claim a measured winner.

Cameras: more megapixels do not settle image quality
Rear cameras
Samsung lists a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 12MP ultrawide camera. OnePlus advertises a 50MP main camera with dual-axis OIS; 91mobiles lists an 8MP ultrawide for the Nord 6. The S25 Edge therefore has a higher-resolution main-camera specification, while the Nord’s listed main-camera resolution is lower. Megapixel counts do not by themselves establish detail, low-light performance, color, focus reliability or overall photo quality.
Selfie cameras
Samsung specifies a 12MP front camera, and OnePlus advertises a 32MP front camera. As with the rear cameras, resolution alone is not a reliable image-quality comparison; the reviewed sources do not provide independent side-by-side photo testing.
Battery and charging: Nord 6 emphasizes capacity and speed
OnePlus lists a 9,000mAh battery and 80W charging for the Nord 6. Samsung specifies a 3,900mAh battery for the S25 Edge and says it can reach up to 55% in around 30 minutes with a separately sold 25W adapter. Samsung also supports wireless charging.

The much higher Nord capacity and charging wattage make it the more compelling specification-sheet choice for buyers focused on battery size and wired charging speed. They do not prove how many hours either phone lasts in everyday use: display settings, network conditions, software and workload affect endurance. OnePlus’s battery and other performance figures include company test-lab claims with conditions and caveats, not independent head-to-head results.

OnePlus India states that the Nord 6 will receive four Android OS updates and six years of security updates. The Samsung announcement reviewed for the S25 Edge does not establish an update term. A third-party comparison reports seven years for Samsung, but that figure is not verified here against a current official Samsung support source, so it should not be treated as a confirmed like-for-like comparison.

Samsung’s May 2025 U.S. launch prices were $1,099.99 for the 256GB S25 Edge and $1,219.99 for the 512GB model. Those are U.S. launch prices, not current India offers. The reviewed OnePlus India product page did not establish an official current India price for the Nord 6.

At the time 91mobiles’ comparison page was accessed in 2026, it showed Amazon India listing snapshots of ₹66,700 for the S25 Edge and ₹46,999 for the Nord 6—a displayed difference of ₹19,701. These are time-sensitive marketplace figures, not official prices; the listed storage variants and current availability need checking. The snapshot does not establish that the two listings are like-for-like. Before buying, compare current prices for the same country, storage configuration and seller conditions rather than combining Samsung’s U.S. launch price with an India listing.
Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Galaxy S25 Edge if
- You want the documented slim, light design: Samsung lists 5.8mm thickness and 163g.
- You prefer a QHD+ screen with adaptive refresh up to 120Hz.
- You value a 200MP main-camera specification and wireless charging, while recognizing that specs alone do not establish camera quality.
Choose the OnePlus Nord 6 if
- You prioritize a higher advertised refresh rate, with OnePlus listing 165Hz.
- You want the larger stated battery capacity and faster wired charging figures: 9,000mAh and 80W, respectively.
- You want a stated software-support commitment of four Android OS updates and six years of security updates from OnePlus India.
Before choosing on price or size, check current regional listings and full specifications for the exact storage variants you intend to buy. The available evidence does not establish Nord 6 dimensions comparable with Samsung’s figures, a verified official current India price, or an official Samsung support duration.
