The Dyson Purifier Cool TP07 is a connected air purifier and fan in one, but its polished feature set comes with a key trade-off: independent testing by RTINGS found relatively low particle-cleaning performance and noisy operation. It is most compelling if you value app controls, air-quality monitoring and adjustable airflow; it is harder to recommend when fast particle removal or quiet operation is the priority.
What the TP07 does
The TP07 combines a tower-style fan with an air purifier. It can also purify with its fan off, according to RTINGS’ review. You can use its remote or Dyson Link app, set Auto mode and schedules, and monitor air quality on the display. Dyson Australia lists oscillation up to 350 degrees, a diffused-airflow mode and a 360-degree glass HEPA and activated-carbon filter on its TP07 product page.
This is a fan, not an air conditioner: it moves air but does not refrigerate a room. The fan can make you feel cooler through airflow, while purification is a separate function.
How well does it clean the air?
Dyson Australia says the TP07 removes 99.95% of ultrafine particles as small as 0.1 microns and describes the purifier as sealed to HEPA H13 standard. The product page cites EN1822 and ISO29463 testing context for filtration. These are manufacturer claims about filtration; they do not by themselves establish how quickly the unit will reduce particles throughout a particular room.

RTINGS’ independent review, originally published May 13, 2024, rates particle filtration 5.5 and describes the clean-air delivery rate as somewhat low. Its test bench was updated July 16, 2026, to version 1.3.1. RTINGS characterizes the TP07 as a middling bedroom option and a mediocre choice for pet owners, particularly when fine particles or larger rooms are concerns. The score is specific to RTINGS’ test system, not a percentage of particles removed in every home.
In practical terms, consider the room and the setting you can tolerate. A purifier that is noisy at the speed needed for faster cleaning may be less useful in a bedroom or shared space. RTINGS also flags noisy operation, so buyers prioritizing quiet use should compare independent noise findings alongside cleaning performance.

Fan, controls and everyday use
Airflow and oscillation
The fan offers oscillation up to 350 degrees according to Dyson Australia. Dyson also describes a diffused-airflow option, while the TP07 manual documents airflow-direction controls. These features offer flexibility in where air is directed, but they do not change the unit’s role as a fan rather than a cooling appliance.
Monitoring and control
The manual covers remote operation, Auto mode and app setup. RTINGS says the Dyson Link app supports remote control and schedules. These connected features are useful if you want to monitor or adjust the purifier without standing at the machine; the remote remains an alternative for basic operation.

Filter replacement and ownership costs
The TP07 uses a replaceable HEPA+Carbon filter. Its manual explains removal and replacement and says filter life appears on the machine display and in the Dyson Link app. It does not establish one universal replacement interval for every region or pattern of use, so use the machine’s indicator and check Dyson’s guidance for your market rather than assuming a fixed schedule.
Before buying, include the price and availability of a replacement filter in your ownership-cost comparison. The manual identifies the filter type, and a replacement listing should explicitly confirm TP07 compatibility; check the exact model compatibility on the retailer’s own listing.

Price and availability
When Dyson Australia’s product page was accessed in 2026, it listed an AUD $949 recommended retail price and showed the TP07 as out of stock. That observation applies only to the Australian page at that time. Price and stock change, and no current price for other markets is established here; check your local Dyson store and retailers before deciding.

It may suit you if
- You want one appliance that provides both fan airflow and air purification.
- You value app and remote controls, air-quality monitoring, Auto mode or scheduling.
- You are comfortable weighing Dyson’s stated filtration specifications against independent room-performance testing.
Consider another purifier if
- Your main goal is rapid particle cleaning in a larger room or a space with significant fine-particle or pet-related concerns.
- You need quiet operation at the airflow level you expect to use; RTINGS flags noise as a drawback.
- You want a fan that actively cools a room, rather than one that circulates air.
Compare alternatives on independent particle-cleaning performance for the room you need to serve, noise at useful settings, airflow direction and fan utility, controls, replacement-filter cost and local price. The TP07’s broad feature set is real, but it does not erase the performance and noise qualifications identified by RTINGS.
