You can also go to Billing → Subscriptions, open the relevant subscription, and choose Upgrade. Review the eligible plans, resource limits, and final amount shown in your account before completing payment.
Start the upgrade in hPanel

Sign in to your Hostinger account and open Websites.

Find the website using the plan you want to change. Click the ellipsis beside that hosting plan and select Upgrade. Depending on the dashboard view, you may also see Upgrade or Upgrade Plan in the website dashboard menu.

For Website Builder plans and VPS upgrades, use Billing → Subscriptions. Open the subscription you want to change and select Upgrade.

Choose from the plans offered to your account. Compare the resource amounts displayed for each option, then select Complete upgrade payment and follow the payment steps.
The plans and prices available can depend on your location and subscription. Confirm the offer and total in the signed-in upgrade screen; Hostinger does not publish one universal upgrade price for every account. See Hostinger’s hosting-plan upgrade instructions.
Check whether your intended move is an in-place upgrade
Not every plan change can be completed from the upgrade screen. Hostinger says Web and Cloud hosting plans cannot be upgraded directly to VPS. To move to VPS, purchase a VPS plan separately and migrate your content manually. Hostinger also says Cloud Enterprise is not eligible for an upgrade; its guidance suggests considering a VPS migration instead.

Before paying, make sure the offered plan is the one you need and that the move fits your migration needs. For an eligible in-place upgrade, Hostinger says your existing files, emails, databases, and configurations are transferred automatically. A move that requires a separate VPS purchase is different: you must handle migration yourself.
What happens to your content, IP address, and unused plan value
Content transfer and timing
For a standard upgrade, Hostinger says files, emails, databases, and configurations transfer automatically to the new plan. The upgrade takes effect immediately, but the transfer may take a few hours. Hostinger explains the post-upgrade process in its guide to what happens after an upgrade.
Extra work for Web-to-Cloud upgrades
A Web-to-Cloud upgrade assigns a new IP address. If you have systems that connect directly to the old address, you may need to update:

Hostinger says traffic to external domains is proxied to the new server for seven days after the transfer. DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to propagate, so an updated record may not be reflected everywhere immediately.
Credit for the remaining value of your plan
Hostinger says the remaining value of the current plan is applied as a discount to the upgrade price. Its support article illustrates this with $50 of remaining value against a $200 plan cost, leaving $150 to pay. Those figures are an illustrative example, not current plan pricing or a guaranteed quote; use the amount shown in your own checkout.

Eligibility: Confirm the plan you want appears as an upgrade option. Web or Cloud to VPS requires a separate purchase and manual migration.

Network changes: Check whether your move is Web-to-Cloud, which changes the IP address and can require connection or DNS updates.

Amount due: Review the final total and any credit for unused plan value in the upgrade screen before confirming payment.
