The ASUS ROG Keris II Ace is a strong fit for FPS players who want a very light, right-handed mouse with wired, 2.4 GHz wireless, and Bluetooth connectivity. ASUS lists it at 54 grams, and RTINGS’ review describes it as well built and responsive, with very low click latency and strong sensor performance. Its main compromises are fewer side buttons than a dedicated MMO mouse and a scroll wheel without free scrolling or tilt inputs.

What is the Keris II Ace, and who is it for?

The Keris II Ace is a right-handed gaming mouse designed around a lightweight build and a shape that RTINGS says can suit a range of grip styles and hand sizes. In its comparisons, RTINGS characterizes it as somewhat smaller than the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro and Pulsar Xlite V3, making it a more natural consideration for medium-sized hands than those larger options. Shape is personal, so hand size and how you hold a mouse matter more than the weight figure alone.

ASUS says the shell uses bio-based nylon derived from castor oil. Its January 12, 2024 announcement calls the mouse an ultralight option for competitive gamers and esports athletes; that is the manufacturer’s product description, not an independent performance finding. How does it perform for gaming?

RTINGS’ review, published June 19, 2024 and carrying a test-bench update dated March 10, 2026, describes the Keris II Ace as particularly strong for FPS gaming. It reports very low click latency and strong overall sensor performance, alongside responsive operation and solid build quality. RTINGS does not establish a numeric performance result in the accessible review summary, so those findings should not be read as a particular measured latency or a guarantee of an advantage in every game.

What are its main limitations?

Fewer controls for MMO play

The Keris II Ace can work for MMO gaming, according to RTINGS, but its side-button count is lower than that of dedicated MMO mice. If you regularly bind many abilities to your mouse, compare the physical button layout with your existing setup before choosing it.

A basic scroll wheel for productivity

RTINGS notes that the wheel does not offer free scrolling or left/right tilt inputs. Those omissions matter more for spreadsheet work, document navigation, or workflows that rely on horizontal scrolling than for straightforward gaming use.

Some Mac functions may need Windows setup

RTINGS notes that some functions may require configuration on a Windows machine before use on Mac. The cited review summary does not identify every affected function, so Mac users who depend on advanced customization should confirm the setup requirements for their intended controls.

How should you compare it with other lightweight gaming mice?

Start with shape and hand fit, then compare the features that affect your games and setup. RTINGS’ comparisons include the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro, Razer Viper V3 Pro, ASUS ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition, and Pulsar Xlite V3. In those specific comparisons, the DeathAdder V3 Pro is slightly larger, while the Viper V3 Pro is symmetrical and supports up to 8,000 Hz wirelessly; the Keris II Ace is right-handed and reaches its 8,000 Hz maximum in wired mode. These are comparison points from RTINGS’ review, not universal rankings.

RTINGS ASUS ROG Keris II Ace review and comparisons

Is the ASUS ROG Keris II Ace worth buying?

It is worth considering if your priority is a lightweight, right-handed mouse for FPS play and you value the choice of wired, 2.4 GHz, and Bluetooth connections. The independent review findings support its gaming strengths, while the manufacturer’s specifications establish its sensor, switch rating, and connection options. It is a less obvious match if you need many thumb buttons, a feature-rich scroll wheel, or wireless 8,000 Hz polling: the latter is not the stated wireless maximum, even with the optional booster.
