After you reach an ending in Lies of P, you can return to Hotel Krat to explore post-game activities or start another playthrough. The best next step depends on whether you want a boss challenge, more story, collectibles, or a fresh run. Here are seven practical options, with the verified unlock conditions and limits where they matter.
1. Return to Hotel Krat before choosing your next playthrough
After the ending, the game presents two options: “Start Next Playthrough” or “Return to the Hotel.” Choose “Return to the Hotel” if you want to inspect the hub and consider the activities available before committing to another run. The choice prompt is documented in NEOWIZ’s June 6, 2025 Overture launch patch notes; those notes do not detail every save consequence, so do not assume more than the prompt itself establishes.

2. Test yourself in Boss Rematch
Boss Rematch becomes available after you complete the main story and reach an ending. From the Hotel Stargazer, choose between two modes:

- Death March: Face a sequence of three or more bosses with limited HP and items.
These modes are described in NEOWIZ’s launch patch notes. Rematches are a way to revisit combat without beginning a full playthrough.

3. Play Overture for a prequel story
Lies of P: Overture is a prequel expansion, not a direct continuation of the ending. It takes the story to Krat in an earlier period and adds locations, weapons, Legion Arms, enemies, and bosses. NEOWIZ’s official Overture page describes the expansion; its launch notes state that it must be purchased separately.
To enter Overture, the official instructions require reaching Chapter 9 and repairing the Hotel Stargazer. Since that access condition is chapter-based, reaching an ending is not itself the stated requirement. Check the store for your platform to confirm availability and purchase details.

4. Replay and make different choices
Choice is part of the game’s truth-versus-lie premise: the Xbox Wire interview with game director Ji-won Choi discusses the role of those choices in Lies of P. On another run, you can choose differently and see how the experience changes. The sources cited here do not establish an exact ending checklist or the number of runs required for completion, so treat this as an invitation to explore rather than a guaranteed route to a particular outcome.

If you have been collecting records, revisit the gramophone and see what you still want to hear. NEOWIZ says that records which were mutually exclusive can now be acquired in a single playthrough, and the gramophone supports playlist repeat, single-record repeat, and shuffle (launch patch notes). The available information does not provide a complete record checklist, so use your in-game collection to guide what to pursue.

6. Adjust difficulty for another run
NEOWIZ’s June 6, 2025 launch notes describe three difficulty levels and say they can be changed at any time under Settings → Gameplay → Difficulty. Adjusting difficulty can help tailor a replay to the level of challenge you want. These menu details are version-sensitive: if the path or available options differ in your game, check your installed version and current patch notes.
7. Choose between New Game Plus and a fresh save
The post-ending prompt’s “Start Next Playthrough” option is the official route to begin another playthrough. Whether to use it or begin a fresh save comes down to your preference: continue from the post-ending flow, or start over without relying on any assumed carryover. The official sources cited here do not specify what New Game Plus carries forward, so do not count on particular equipment, upgrades, or progression until you confirm the behavior in your version of the game.
