1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThe Logitech G PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED is a comfortable, long-lasting gaming headset with LIGHTSPEED wireless, Bluetooth, and analog wired listening. Its compromises matter: it isolates little outside noise, offers limited controls, and its microphone can reject background noise without sounding natural. RTINGS’ review supports it as a versatile option for gaming, but not as a strong choice for quiet isolation or a polished-sounding mic.
Logitech G PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED specifications
Logitech Support lists these specifications for the headset; the battery figure is a manufacturer rating rather than an independent measurement. Logitech G separately advertises the wireless range shown below as an “up to” figure.

| Drivers | 50 mm graphene drivers (Logitech Support, undated specification page) |

Logitech describes aluminum and steel construction, rotating hinges, and memory-foam earpads offered in leatherette or velour. The listed package includes leatherette earpads, an additional cloth earpad set, a USB-A LIGHTSPEED adapter, a detachable boom microphone, a USB-A-to-USB-C cable, a 3.5 mm cable, and a soft storage bag.
How it performs for gaming and everyday listening
Comfort and battery life
RTINGS found the headset very comfortable and reported long-lasting continuous battery life. Those findings make it appealing for extended sessions, though the 345 g listed weight is worth considering if you prefer a lighter headset. RTINGS also cautions that glasses can interfere with the earcup seal and reduce bass.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Wireless gaming and sound adjustment
RTINGS reports low latency over the LIGHTSPEED dongle for wireless gaming. On PC, companion software allows sound customization; RTINGS says EQ settings can also be saved for PlayStation. These options make the headset adaptable, but they do not change its physical fit or compensate for a broken earcup seal.
Noise isolation
Isolation is a notable weakness in RTINGS’ assessment. The headset does not block much surrounding noise passively, so it is a poor fit if you need to shut out a busy room or commute sounds. That weakness is separate from the microphone’s ability to handle background noise: one describes what reaches your ears, the other what the mic picks up.

Microphone: good noise rejection, less natural voice tone
RTINGS found that the microphone rejects background noise effectively, which can help keep environmental sounds from dominating voice chat. However, it also described the recorded voice as potentially bassy, boomy, or unnatural. If a natural, broadcast-like voice is a priority, noise rejection alone should not be taken as evidence that the microphone will meet it.
Connections and platform compatibility
The headset offers three listening methods: LIGHTSPEED wireless through its included USB-A adapter, Bluetooth, and analog wired audio through the 3.5 mm cable. These broaden the devices it can serve, but RTINGS reports that multiple connection types cannot be used simultaneously. It also reports wireless use is unsupported on Xbox.

For consoles and PCs with an AUX port, RTINGS says analog wired listening works with most systems. Check the ports and connection method supported by your particular device before buying; platform support differs by connection type, and the included wireless adapter is USB-A.
Controls and tradeoffs to weigh
RTINGS identifies the control set as limited. That matters if you expect a headset to provide many on-ear adjustments. The core tradeoffs are:

Is the Logitech G PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED worth buying?
It is a reasonable candidate if comfort, battery endurance, and flexible wired or wireless listening matter more to you than isolation and on-headset controls. Its microphone’s background-noise rejection is useful, but its reported boomy or unnatural tone may disappoint callers who care about voice quality. Because current prices and stock are not established here, whether it is good value depends on the price you find and on how much you value those strengths over its limitations.
Performance findings in this review are attributed to RTINGS; product specifications and wireless range claims come from Logitech’s official pages.
