That means checking compatibility, running representative pilots, planning rollback, and publishing production results that include performance, cost, energy use where measured, and migration effort. Arm-based cloud and data center compute already has production examples, but the evidence does not show that every enterprise workload—or corporate desktop fleet—is ready to move.
What enterprise acceptance means for Arm
Here, acceptance means organizations are willing to test and run Arm-based infrastructure in production, with their applications and operating practices supported well enough to manage it. The strongest documented evidence is for cloud and data center compute, rather than a broad survey of enterprise attitudes or endpoint fleets.
Major cloud providers offer Arm-based compute, and published customer cases describe production migrations. Arm’s Cloud Migration Program says it supports commercial and open-source application deployments on Arm Neoverse platforms, including AWS Graviton, Google Axion, Microsoft Azure Cobalt, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Ampere. It describes expert guidance, best practices, and technical resources; check current availability, eligibility, and terms before relying on it as a buyer option.
Arm’s April 2025 forecast said close to 50% of compute shipped to top hyperscalers in 2025 would be Arm-based. This is Arm’s forecast, not an independently verified final share of 2025 shipments or a measure of enterprise compute overall. Arm’s announcement should be read in that context.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Why an enterprise might choose Arm
The decision should not rest on a blanket claim that Arm is faster or cheaper. A particular workload may benefit from price-performance, energy efficiency, platform or supply choice, or alignment with cloud-native software. Results depend on the workload and specific platform; vendor claims are not substitutes for a buyer’s own measurements.
Published cases show that migration can be practical in some settings. AWS reports that TradingView moved 70% of its workloads to Graviton within one year, using multi-architecture builds and a staged, team-by-team approach; the case study says the move caused no service disruption. These are AWS’s reported results for TradingView, not a forecast for another organization. Read the AWS case study.

AWS also reports that Techcom Securities moved containerized workloads—including internal APIs, public applications, and trading-support systems—to Graviton instances in EKS. The company used multi-architecture CI/CD and validated workloads as it progressed. AWS’s Techcom Securities case study describes that approach.
In a July 2026 case study, Arm describes Atlassian’s migration of more than 3,000 EC2 instances for Jira and Confluence. The case underscores an important distinction: a workload passing compatibility checks is only the start; production performance still needs to be measured and optimized. How to make an Arm pilot useful and low-risk
1. Check the whole software stack
Compatibility is the first gate, not a source-code-only check. Inventory the application, third-party libraries and dependencies, operating system, database, build pipeline, and architecture-specific binaries. A program may look portable while depending on a component that is unavailable or unsupported on Arm. Capgemini’s migration guidance recommends assessing compatibility and planning for migration contingencies. Read Capgemini’s AWS Graviton guidance.
2. Test realistic workloads on both platforms
Run functional and performance tests under representative traffic or batch loads. Compare throughput, latency, capacity under peak conditions, and total compute and migration cost against the same service target. Include engineering effort, dependency and vendor support, regional availability, and rollback complexity in the comparison; track energy use when it can be measured. These checks help distinguish a successful port from a genuine operational or economic improvement.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
3. Use staged deployment and preserve a rollback path
Multi-architecture builds let teams validate and deploy the same application across architectures. Start with a bounded pilot, shift traffic gradually, monitor service behavior, and make sure a rollback route is credible before expanding. TradingView’s case describes a staged team-by-team move; Capgemini’s guidance highlights rollback and contingency planning. Those practices reduce exposure, but they do not remove the need to validate each workload.
4. Assign support ownership before production
Arm’s migration program and cloud-provider support may help reduce investigation effort, but establish who owns diagnosis across application, operating system, runtime, and hardware layers. The available program and case materials do not establish uniform support obligations across vendors or geographies, so clarify escalation paths and service responsibilities for the specific platform and region.

What the published numbers do—and do not—show
| Figure | What it represents | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| Close to 50% of compute shipped to top hyperscalers in 2025 | Arm’s forecast, published in April 2025. | A forecast by Arm, not a confirmed final shipment share or an enterprise-wide adoption figure. Source. |
| 70% of TradingView workloads migrated within one year | AWS customer case study report; the retrieved page does not state a publication date. | A result reported for TradingView’s Graviton migration, not a typical or guaranteed outcome. Source. |
| More than 3,000 EC2 instances | Arm’s July 2026 case study on Atlassian’s Jira and Confluence migration, co-authored by Arm, Atlassian, and AWS personnel. | The scale of that named migration, not a measure of general enterprise readiness. Source. |
These figures come from named vendors or customer-case publishers and describe different things. They are not a neutral, comparable benchmark set, and they do not establish a specific Arm share of all enterprise compute.
Where the evidence does not reach
The documented cases support Arm as a credible option for some cloud and data center workloads. They do not establish readiness for every enterprise application, nor do they provide sufficiently authoritative current evidence to assess corporate desktop fleets, including Windows on Arm application coverage and device suitability. Treat endpoint decisions as a separate evaluation rather than assuming infrastructure results apply to laptops.
