Windows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallCrashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteIntegrate AI code review at the pull request (PR) or merge request (MR) stage, where it can comment on a change in context. Keep builds, tests, linting, security scanners, and required human approvals as distinct merge signals: AI can help reviewers spot issues, but its review is not proof that code is correct or secure.
Where AI review fits in a CI/CD pipeline
Use the change event as the trigger: run a review when a PR or MR opens, and, where supported and useful, when new commits arrive. Deliver findings in the platform’s review interface so the author and reviewers can assess them alongside the diff and discussion.
Think of the pipeline as producing complementary signals. AI provides contextual suggestions; conventional CI supplies repeatable results from tests, builds, linters, and security tools; people make the merge decision, with designated owners or security reviewers involved for consequential changes.
- AI review: Flag potential defects, risky changes, missing tests, or departures from project conventions for a person to assess.
- Deterministic CI: Run checks that produce repeatable pass/fail results under defined conditions.
- Human review: Evaluate intent, trade-offs, findings, and changes that require specialist or code-owner approval.
Choose the integration for your repository host
GitHub Copilot code review is centered on pull requests; GitLab Duo Code Review Flow runs as a CI/CD job in merge-request context. Their setup models differ, so compare the host, deployment, entitlements, available execution capacity, permissions, and organization policies before adopting either.

Set up AI review on GitHub
GitHub documents requesting Copilot as a reviewer on a pull request, as well as an API route that requests review from copilot-pull-request-reviewer[bot]. Automatic review can also be configured for eligible plans. Exact labels, availability, and policy controls can change, so follow the current usage instructions and configuration guide.
- Confirm access and policy. Check that the organization’s Copilot plan and settings permit code review and that the repository can use the required GitHub Actions capabilities.
- Choose the trigger. Begin with manual reviewer requests if you want developers to control when a review runs. Enable automatic review only after confirming eligibility and deciding which pull requests should receive it.
- Provide repository context. Add conventions and review priorities in
.github/copilot-instructions.md; use path-specific instruction files orAGENTS.mdwhere appropriate. GitHub documents these context options in its code review guide. - Keep checks separate. Continue running tests and other CI workflows independently of AI comments. GitHub’s codebase standards rollout guidance recommends integrating tests in Actions or another CI/CD system.
- Review the workflow’s access. Grant only the permissions and credentials needed for the task, particularly where automation handles changes from outside contributors or invokes agentic capabilities.
Set up AI review on GitLab
GitLab’s Code Review Flow is a CI/CD job, so runner capacity and project configuration are part of the integration—not optional afterthoughts. Before enabling it, check the deployment’s current requirements in the Code Review Flow documentation.

- Verify deployment eligibility. Confirm that the organization’s GitLab deployment, version, tier, Duo configuration, and feature state support the flow.
- Enable at group level. Arrange the required group-level flow settings and verify project permissions and roles for people who configure or use it.
- Provide an eligible runner. Confirm that an appropriate configured or hosted runner is available, including any necessary executor and runner-tag setup, and that it has capacity for the additional job.
- Supply project context. Configure review instructions and use the recommended agent configuration file to expose relevant toolchain and dependency context to the flow.
- Constrain access. Review credentials, permissions, and the flow’s access to repositories and tools. GitLab’s agentic-systems security guidance discusses threats and access management.
Keep tests, security checks, and approvals independent
Do not treat an AI review as a replacement for tests, builds, static analysis, dependency checks, or security scanning. Those checks have defined inputs and repeatable outcomes; model-generated review comments do not establish that a change passes them. GitHub cautions that guardrails cannot prevent every vulnerable or error-prone change from being merged, as explained in its rollout guidance.
Keep normal branch protections and human approval requirements in force. Decide in advance which paths or change types require a code owner, security specialist, or other designated reviewer. AI findings should enter the review conversation for assessment; do not make an AI comment the sole security or correctness gate.

Give the reviewer useful context
Generic prompts tend to miss the rules that make a change safe in a particular codebase. Use repository-level instructions, path-specific guidance, or the platform’s recommended agent configuration to make review priorities explicit.
- Describe the architecture and the responsibilities of important modules.
- Identify high-risk directories, sensitive data paths, and security boundaries that deserve extra scrutiny.
- State acceptable patterns, compatibility requirements, and project conventions.
- Explain when tests are expected and which behavior or edge cases matter.
- Ask for findings to be specific and tied to changed code, so a human can verify them efficiently.
GitHub supports repository-wide .github/copilot-instructions.md, path-specific instruction files, and AGENTS.md context for code review in its usage documentation. GitLab supports custom review instructions and recommends an agent configuration file for toolchain and dependency context in its flow documentation.

Roll it out without making noise a merge gate
Start with advisory comments on a limited set of repositories or change types. Observe whether findings are useful, how often developers act on them, the noise they create, and their latency. Compare the comments with existing review and CI outcomes before considering any blocking policy. These are practical rollout measures, not published effectiveness benchmarks.

- Pick a bounded pilot. Choose repositories with maintainers who can assess output and refine project instructions.
- Keep the first phase non-blocking. Let developers and reviewers respond to AI comments without allowing them to override required checks or approvals.
- Assess operational fit. Track usefulness, repeated false alarms, missed issues noticed later, latency, and the burden on Actions or runner capacity.
- Adjust context and scope. Refine instructions, permissions, and which changes trigger review based on observed behavior.
- Reconsider policy only with evidence. If evaluating any blocking use, limit it to a narrow, well-defined policy and validate it against the team’s own requirements. Do not infer reliability from the absence of AI comments.
