Nintendo Switch Lite: the lower-cost Nintendo option
TechRadar’s 2026 guide lists the Switch Lite at $199.99 / £200 and describes it as a smaller portable system. It makes sense if your aim is Nintendo handheld play at a lower listed price than the alternatives in this guide. It does not replace Switch 2 on equal terms: it is an earlier-generation, handheld-only device. The ROG Ally X is relevant if Windows compatibility and access to multiple storefronts matter more than keeping the purchase strictly budget-focused.
