Build Sung Jinwoo around the mode, enemy element, and weapons you actually have—not a single supposedly universal loadout. A current third-party guide lists Architect’s Blue Poison as its default eight-piece artifact set, with a Light Guild Boss exception, and suggests Attack% on several main-stat pieces. Treat those as provisional guide recommendations: Netmarble’s August 2026 update changed select weapons and artifact effects, and its official notes do not publish a complete best-in-slot build.
What changed in Jinwoo’s build options
Netmarble’s August 27, 2026 update announcement introduced the Jinwoo-exclusive SSR weapon Spirit Blade: Snowstorm and announced balance adjustments to select Jinwoo weapons, hunters, and artifact set effects. Those changes make older build advice potentially stale. The announcement does not provide a full weapon-pair, skill, or stat-allocation table.
Jinwoo’s progression also expanded in the July 30, 2026 update: his level cap rose from 150 to 160, and the job Monarch of Shadows: Vanquisher was added. Netmarble describes it as a Dark-element successor form combining transformations and shadow attacks. Consider your current progression and this form when choosing how to invest; the update does not establish a universal build for every mode.

A September 26, 2026 third-party guide lists Architect’s Blue Poison as its default eight-piece artifact set and names Light Guild Boss as an exception. The guide page redirected to the publisher’s home page when checked, so treat this as a provisional recommendation rather than a verified official rule. Netmarble’s update confirms artifact-effect changes but does not identify a complete optimal set for each boss.

The same guide suggests these main stats:
- Helmet, gloves, and ring: Attack%.
- Boots: Critical Hit Damage or Defense Penetration.
- Bracelet: damage bonus matching the element you are using.
These are secondary-source suggestions, not officially confirmed requirements. Use them as a starting point only if the pieces fit your content and current effects; do not assume the pattern overrides an elemental matchup or a mode-specific build.
Pick weapons and skills by content, not by a fixed pair
There is not enough current, directly verified information to name one best weapon pair or skill-and-rune setup for every mode. The September guide says weapon combinations and stat choices shift with the boss or element, while Netmarble confirms new weapon and balance changes without publishing optimized pairings. Compare options against the encounter you are preparing for and the weapons you own, rather than copying a pair without context.
- Start with the mode or boss: identify the encounter you are building for, since a recommendation may not transfer to another fight.
- Check the element matchup: select weapons and damage bonuses with the target and your intended element in mind.
- Account for your inventory: use owned weapons and artifact pieces; the available evidence does not support a precise replacement ranking.
- Reassess after balance updates: the August 2026 changes affected select weapon and artifact effects, so older advice may no longer apply unchanged.
Netmarble characterizes combat as a player-selected mix of skills and weapons, not a single locked style. Its August 27 announcement says players create combat styles by choosing combinations of skills and weapons.
Use the Armory to add power from owned exclusive weapons
Netmarble’s Armory guide says the feature unlocks when Sung Jinwoo reaches level 30. Register owned Sung Jinwoo exclusive weapons in unlocked slots: each contributes a percentage of its Total Power, and slot enhancement raises that percentage. Armory power counts in combat and squad formation. The guide notes that feature details may change.

- ABIS BOOK
- Yen Press
This makes the Armory a separate progression consideration from which weapons you equip for a particular fight. The guide does not establish a best weapon pair for a mode, so use its rules to understand the contribution of registered weapons rather than infer an encounter-specific loadout.

A practical build-check order
- Set the target: choose the mode or boss and note its relevant element.
- Review recent changes: account for Spirit Blade: Snowstorm and the August 2026 weapon and artifact adjustments.
- Assemble available artifacts: use Architect’s Blue Poison as a provisional starting point, checking the Light Guild Boss exception and the caveat that this is secondary guidance.
- Set main stats: consider the cited Attack%, boot, and bracelet recommendations, but adapt to the encounter and pieces you own.
- Choose weapons and skills: compare what is available for the target; a definitive current pairing and skill setup by mode is not established in the cited official notes.
- Check Armory progression: from level 30, register owned exclusive weapons and enhance slots if you want to raise their power contribution.
