Mezco Toyz labels its One:12 Collective Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures as 1:12 scale, but the listed heights vary by release: several turtle sets are approximately 17 cm tall, while the 1990 movie set is listed at approximately 149–151 mm. The shared scale label helps with broad display comparisons; it does not guarantee that figures, accessories, stands, or playsets from different brands will fit together.
What scale are Mezco TMNT figures?
Mezco identifies the TMNT releases covered here as One:12 Collective and lists their product scale as 1:12. Treat that as the manufacturer’s scale designation, not an independently certified fit standard. The published height depends on the specific release:
| Mezco release | Manufacturer-listed scale | Manufacturer-listed height | Relevant listed details |
|---|---|---|---|
| Red-mask One:12 TMNT boxed set | 1:12 | Approximately 17 cm | Four unique turtle body sculpts; more than 28 articulation points; includes bases and adjustable display posts. Mezco product listing |
| 1990 movie One:12 boxed set | 1:12 | Approximately 149–151 mm (about 5.9–6.0 inches) | More than 26 articulation points; separate rolling eyeballs; soft-goods belts and harnesses. Mezco product listing |
| Standard Deluxe boxed set | 1:12 | Approximately 17 cm | Four distinct turtle body types; more than 28 articulation points. Mezco product listing |
| Deluxe Animated Series Edition | 1:12 | Approximately 17 cm | More than 28 articulation points. Mezco product listing |
| One:12 Splinter | 1:12 | Approximately 17 cm | Mezco lists the figure in the same One:12 line. Mezco product listing |
| One:12 Shredder | 1:12 | Approximately 17 cm | Mezco lists the figure in the same One:12 line. Mezco product listing |
These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements. In particular, do not assume every Mezco TMNT figure is exactly six inches tall: the listed height for the 1990 movie figures differs from the approximately 17 cm entries.

Do Mezco One:12 TMNT figures fit other 1:12 figures and accessories?
Not necessarily. A shared 1:12 label is a useful first screen for approximate display scale, but Mezco’s listings do not promise cross-brand fit or publish tolerances for hands, weapon grips, stand pegs, vehicles, or playsets. A figure may look at home beside another nominally 1:12 figure while a specific accessory connection or clearance still does not work.
#1 Best Overall
- One:12 Collective body with over 32 points of articulation
- Hand-painted authentic detailing
- Approximately 17cm tall
- Three (3) interchangeable head portraits
- Ten (10) interchangeable hands
For context, Mattel’s Turtles of Grayskull Krang listing describes that figure as 7.9 inches tall and calls the surrounding figures 5.5-inch scale. That is a different product line and is not evidence that it fits Mezco figures or their accessories.

How to check fit before buying
- Identify the exact Mezco release. Use the product name rather than “One:12 TMNT” alone; the official listings give different heights and set contents.
- Compare listed height and proportions. Height helps estimate shelf presence, but body shape, head size, and silhouette can affect how well figures look together. Mezco identifies distinct turtle sculpts in some sets but does not quantify how their proportions compare with other brands.
- Check the specific connection or clearance. For a weapon or hand, look for evidence about that exact grip and accessory. For a stand, check peg and socket dimensions; for a vehicle or playset, check the relevant interior or opening clearance. The cited product pages do not provide these cross-brand measurements.
- Review what the set already includes. The red-mask, Deluxe, and 1990 movie boxed sets list bases and adjustable display posts. Check the exact release contents before buying additional display equipment; included items differ by product.
- Look for release-specific in-hand measurements when fit matters. If a purchase depends on an accessory, peg, or vehicle fitting precisely, nominal scale and listed height alone are not enough to establish compatibility.
What the listings establish—and what they do not
- Established: Mezco’s product pages identify the covered releases as 1:12 scale and publish approximate heights for the figures.
- Not established: Universal compatibility with NECA or another brand’s figures, weapons, hands, stands, vehicles, or playsets.
- Release-specific: Sculpt details, articulation, included accessories, and display equipment vary across the listed sets, so check the page for the version you are considering.
