Choose F1 TV Pro for live F1 video with onboard cameras, team radio and data tools; choose Premium if you also want 4K Ultra HD/HDR, Multiview and the option to watch on up to six devices at once. Access is the limited tier for live timing data and full race replays—the available official description does not establish that it includes live F1 video. Which plans you can buy, what they cost and how you subscribe depend on your country.
What’s the difference between F1 TV Pro and Premium?
Both are the video-focused choices if you want to follow F1 sessions live. Formula 1 describes Pro as providing live feeds of every session at every event, including driver onboard cameras, team radio, in-depth data and behind-the-scenes content. It is described as high quality and ad-free. Premium adds a more immersive viewing setup, with 4K Ultra HD/HDR coverage of F1 sessions, Multiview on supported devices and up to six concurrent devices, according to Formula 1’s 2025 Premium announcement.
| Plan | What Formula 1 describes | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| F1 TV Pro | Live feeds of every event session, onboard cameras, team radio, in-depth data and exclusive behind-the-scenes content; high quality and ad-free. | Fans who want live F1 video, alternate camera views and data features. |
| F1 TV Premium | Pro-style live coverage plus 4K Ultra HD/HDR, Multiview on supported devices and up to six concurrent devices, as described at launch. | Fans who want the enhanced picture and multi-screen experience, if supported by their device and local offer. |
| F1 TV Access | Live race timing data and full race replays. The official description cited here does not establish live F1 video access. | Viewers who can do without live video and mainly want timing data and replays. |
Make the decision in this order: first decide whether you need live video. If yes, compare Pro and Premium; if timing data and replays are enough, check whether Access is offered in your country. Then confirm local price, included content and device support before subscribing.
What does F1 TV Premium add?
Formula 1’s Premium launch announcement describes three main differences for Premium:
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- 4K Ultra HD/HDR: Premium is described as offering live F1 Grand Prix, Sprint, qualifying and practice sessions in 4K Ultra HD/HDR.
- Multiview: It combines the main feed, onboard cameras and live timing pages on one screen, where supported.
- Concurrent viewing: The launch description says Premium can be watched on up to six devices at once.
The launch announcement identified Apple iOS, Chrome in a web browser and tvOS-compatible devices as initial Multiview platforms. Treat that as a feature-specific compatibility check, not a guarantee for every device or model. F1 TV’s broader platform list does not by itself confirm that each platform supports Premium’s 4K and Multiview features.
What changed for F1 TV in 2026?
Formula 1’s 4 March 2026 announcement says that every Grand Prix, Sprint, qualifying and practice session will again be available live in 4K Ultra HD/HDR on F1 TV. It also says live coverage of F2, F3, F1 Academy and Porsche Supercup returns. The announcement additionally notes Latin American F1 Live commentary, recently added Japanese commentary and a localized interface, and the first launch of Pro and Premium in South Korea. Availability and language options should still be checked against the current offer in your market.

United States: check the Apple TV offer
Formula 1 says Apple is the new official U.S. broadcaster and that F1 TV will be included at no additional cost within an Apple TV subscription. That U.S.-specific arrangement should not be assumed to apply elsewhere; check Apple’s current offer and F1 TV’s local help information for the purchase and account details.
Is F1 TV available in my country, and how much does it cost?
F1 TV’s plans, distribution and purchase route vary by market. The official material cited here does not provide a current country-by-country price list or a complete availability matrix, so a price from another country—or an older launch price—may not match what you can buy.

How to choose a plan
- Need live F1 video? Start with Pro or Premium. Do not select Access on the assumption that it includes live session video; the official description cited here specifies timing data and full race replays.
- Want 4K/HDR or Multiview? Consider Premium, then verify that the feature works on your device and is included in your local plan.
- Watching on multiple screens? Premium’s launch description allows up to six devices at once. Confirm the current local terms rather than assuming this limit applies to every market or offer.
- Mostly need timing data and replays? Check whether Access is offered locally and whether its replay access meets your needs.
- Confirm the offer before checkout. Compare the local tier, price, billing period, broadcaster or platform bundles, device support and included series in the official subscription flow and Help Center.
