OPPO’s documented Android-to-OPPO transfer route is Clone Phone: start it on the new OPPO, pair the old Android phone by QR code, select the data categories offered, and let the transfer finish. Back up anything already on the new phone first—OPPO warns that Clone Phone can overwrite its existing apps and app data. The exact F35 menus and software version are not confirmed in the available device information, so follow the labels displayed on your phone.
Before you start
- Charge both phones and keep them close together. Make a backup before moving data. Google recommends using Wi-Fi for its Android setup copy; OPPO’s Clone Phone instructions call for Wi-Fi on the old phone and the new phone’s personal hotspot.
- Protect data already on the F35. OPPO warns that Clone Phone overwrites existing apps and app data on the new device, so back up or move anything you have saved there before migrating.
- Check that the old phone can install or open Clone Phone. OPPO says the app is typically preinstalled on its devices; the old Android phone may need the app installed.
Transfer with OPPO Clone Phone
- Open Clone Phone on the new OPPO. Choose “This is the new device,” then choose “Other Android” for the old phone. Menu wording can differ by software version.
- Pair the old phone. Open Clone Phone on the old Android device, choose “This is the old device,” and scan the QR code shown on the new OPPO. Follow any connection prompts; OPPO’s flow uses the new phone’s personal hotspot.
- Choose what to copy. Select the categories available on screen, then start the migration. Keep the phones close and wait for the process to complete before checking the new device.
- Verify the result. Check important contacts, photos, messages, files, and apps on the new phone. Sign in to services and restore anything that did not transfer. Keep the old phone until you have confirmed that important data is available.
OPPO’s general Clone Phone instructions describe the Android-to-OPPO workflow; they do not establish the exact F35 menu labels or software version. If your screens differ, use the options shown on your devices rather than assuming the labels will match word for word.
What Clone Phone may transfer—and what it excludes
OPPO lists contacts, SMS, call records, pictures, audio, video, applications, calendar events, notes, alarms, wallpapers, and some system settings among the supported categories. What appears can depend on device compatibility and Clone Phone version; incompatible apps or app data may not migrate.
OPPO says Clone Phone cannot copy hardware-linked items such as transit and access cards, security-related items such as fingerprints and lock-screen passwords, system-clone data, or incompatible apps and app data. Plan to set up those items separately on the new phone.

Alternative: copy data during Android setup
Google’s Android setup flow is a separate option from OPPO Clone Phone. It supports cable or wireless transfer, and Google says both methods support the same data in that flow. Choose this route while setting up the new phone: Google says the setup transfer may be available only once.
- For a cable transfer, check the connectors on both phones; Google says an adapter may be needed if they do not match. Any cable must support data transfer, not charging alone. The available F35 product information does not confirm its port, so check the device before buying or connecting a cable.
- Google says transfer may take from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the amount of data and the devices. This is general guidance, not a measured estimate for the F35.
- Google lists possible omissions from its setup copy, including downloads such as PDFs, media in hidden folders, apps not from Google Play, data from apps that do not use Android backup, non-Google accounts and their data, contacts or calendars synced with other services, ringtones, and some settings. These are Google setup-flow limitations and should not be treated as a definitive list of Clone Phone exclusions.
Which transfer method should you use?

Neither vendor’s guidance establishes that one method is universally faster or more complete. Choose based on whether you are still in Android setup or want to use OPPO’s migration app, and check important data and accounts afterward.
